Mati Sipiora has created a collection of objects that could successfully stand in an art gallery. The handmade pieces are a tribute to traditional craftsmanship. The objects are made in the family factory in Czepin. In July, he presented three new products that are part of the FUTUROOM collection.
We were able to see Mati Sipiora’s original designs at the last edition of Salone Del Mobile in Milan. He also held a special presentation in Berlin, where he opened a pop-up of his brand. The objects he designs have sculptural forms. They are expressive objects that are also fully functional.
New additions to the designer’s collection are the COMET chandelier, the COSMIC TRAY and the HYPER armchair.
The COMET chandelier is the first project of its kind in Mati Sipiora’s furniture collection. Its design draws inspiration from the construction and materials of the Metropolis console. The designer has created a chandelier in the form of a metal mesh that looks light, while the intense colours make the object full of energy.
The distinctive look is harmonised by the glass balls at the ends of the arms, which make the chandelier look elegant. COMET was created for large spaces such as boutiques, restaurants and hotels.
A beautiful table setting will be created by the new tray in the COSMIC TRAY family. This time, the tray has been enriched with new colours and the largest model, which is only available in a stainless steel shade. The handmade embossing on the sides of this tray gives the seemingly simple design a unique character. The designer wanted to create a multifunctional object that works as a decorative element as well as a practical table accessory.
The last new object is the HYPER armchair. When looking for minimalism in design, one can point to this piece of furniture. The openwork, handmade seat and back construction in polished stainless steel give it lightness, while its dimensions and proportions make it great looking and comfortable.
The HYPER armchair will be successfully placed in modern interiors in the living room, office or coworking spaces. The furniture will look good in lofts, but also set up in the garden or on the terrace. The minimalist armchair allows for easy integration into any arrangement, adding an industrial feel to the interior.
