In Konstancin-Jeziorna, in a picturesque setting surrounded by a vast, green garden, there is a unique house that has undergone extensive revitalisation. The property inherited from her grandparents by the current owner has undergone a comprehensive renovation to become an oasis of calm and modern elegance, an ideal place of rest from the hustle and bustle of Warsaw. The design for the changes was created by the Kamińska Stańczak Design studio.
Already at the threshold of the home’s entrance, the attention is drawn to the lobby, whose beauty is emphasised by a floor made of Warsaw gorse tiles. Hidden in the hallway, a door leads to the toilet, where the carefully designed floor mosaic harmonises with the natural wood and beige details of the carpentry. This focal point overlooks the spacious living room, kitchen and dining room, creating a cohesive living area.
The living room is distinguished by large glazed windows that open up the interior to the greenery of the garden, bringing a natural freshness to the house. The Hungarian herringbone flooring subtly ties all the design elements together, giving the space a cohesive feel. Soft, long curtains add cosiness and warmth to the interior, creating an atmosphere conducive to relaxation and family gatherings.
The heart of the ground floor is the open-plan kitchen with dining area, where natural materials dominate. Wood, beige, black accessories and the natural stone of the kitchen worktop work together to create a harmonious whole. The unique character of the dining room is emphasised by a beautiful wooden table and an exposed painting by the homeowner, which brings a personal touch to the space. Small details, such as the porcelain round light switches, provide an interesting counterpoint to the other design elements.
The interior design is notable for its attention to subtle but striking details. Plaster light points blend seamlessly into the ceiling, creating elegant lighting that emphasises the style of the entire house. Phenomenal lamps, including models from Catellani & Smith and the Vibia Flamingo lamp suspended above the dining table, lend a sophisticated flavour to the arrangement while emphasising the modern character of the design.
A simple staircase leads to the upstairs master bedroom, which charms with its cosiness . Soft carpeting on the floor, structured wallpaper on the walls, a comfortable, wide bed with an upholstered headboard and elegant wooden wardrobes create a space conducive to regeneration. The master bathroom, combining natural wood with light beige tiles, is characterised by functionality and minimalist elegance, providing a perfect complement to the entire arrangement.
The entire interior design of the house in Konstancin-Jeziorna combines modern design with a warm, homely atmosphere. The revitalisation of the site has transformed the historic building into a comfortable space that harmoniously combines elegance, functionality and the cosiness of a family home. It is an ideal place for those seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of big-city life, where every detail testifies to a passion for creating spaces full of life and inspiration.
