A single space may require several different types of light: even general lighting, precise task lighting and accent lighting to draw attention to selected features. Busbar systems allow these functions to be combined in a single installation, whilst a wide selection of compatible luminaires makes it easy to tailor the lighting to the purpose of each specific area.
AQForm’s new products include further luminaires for the MULTITRACK and MICROTRACK track systems, as well as the configurable OPTIMA system designed for office spaces. The solutions vary in form and application, but each one allows for a more precise definition of where and how light should support the users of the interior.
From general lighting to task lighting
ALULINE mini is a linear luminaire compatible with the MULTITRACK track system. It is available in two versions, differing in optics and intended use.
The ALULINE mini LED multitrack uses an opal diffuser and provides uniform light suitable for general lighting. The ALULINE mini LED points multitrack, on the other hand, is fitted with a series of light points that provide more precise task lighting.
They are ideal for use above tables, worktops, kitchen islands and in work areas. Once fitted, both versions sit flush with the MULTITRACK surface, becoming an almost invisible part of the installation. Using them within a single track system allows you to combine uniform lighting of the space with more precise illumination of selected areas. Variants with DALI control also allow you to adjust the light intensity.
Compact design, various lighting functions
MICROTRACK is a compact 48V low-voltage track system, available in surface-mounted and recessed versions. The range of compatible luminaires has been expanded to include solutions for accent and task lighting, as well as pendant and linear variants.
TRIBA mini is available as an adjustable spotlight and a pendant luminaire. Both variants retain the distinctive, grooved body of the TRIBA family, which has won the iF Design Award 2024, the Red Dot Design Award 2024, the BIG SEE Product Design Award 2024 and the Architizer A Awards 2024. The spotlight allows for precise illumination of selected details, artwork or displays, whilst the pendant version is ideal above a table, worktop or counter.
The QRLED next offers a similar division of functions. The adjustable spotlight allows you to highlight pictures, interior design elements and architectural details. The pendant version provides task lighting above a table, island or workstation. Both versions feature the glass lens characteristic of this range, which helps to reduce glare. Combining both luminaires on a single MICROTRACK track allows accent and task lighting to be integrated whilst maintaining the cohesive form of the entire composition.
Another new product compatible with MICROTRACK is the RAFTER mini move. This is a compact linear luminaire with a movable light module. Its position can be adjusted according to current needs, without having to reposition the entire luminaire on the track.
Flexible lighting for demanding office spaces
The new products are not just individual luminaires. OPTIMA is a configurable system designed for complex office spaces. It allows you to freely determine the length of the installation and arrange the light modules in line with the layout of the workstations.
Downward-facing modules provide precise task lighting above desks, whilst uplights brighten the surroundings with light reflected from the ceiling. This allows task and general lighting to be combined in a single installation, without the need to plan two separate solutions. The system also allows for the selection of parameters such as: the colour temperature of the emitted light, the control method, and the colour finish of the profile and optics.
Lighting tailored to the way the space is used
AQForm’s new products demonstrate how different luminaire designs and lighting design approaches can meet the varied needs of an interior. Once fitted, ALULINE virtually disappears into the surface of the MULTITRACK track system; TRIBA remains a distinct decorative element; and OPTIMA allows for the creation of complex layouts tailored to the arrangement of workstations.
Such diverse solutions make it possible to combine general, task and accent lighting in accordance with the function, layout and character of the space.
