Narutowicza 35 in Lodz after renovation. The tenement is beautiful again!

Narutowicza 35 in Łódź is another address that has been included in the city’s renovation plans. The renovation of the tenement owned by the housing community was co-financed by the City of Łódź to the tune of PLN 343,000. This is one of many similar examples in which the city helps private owners with costly renovations.

Thanks to the works carried out, the house belonging to the housing community has regained its former beauty. The renovation of its front elevations (west and north), including the richly decorated corner, was carried out with the financial participation of the city, which amounted to nearly PLN 343,000 – the amount of subsidy obtained by the community in the seventh edition of the city programme of subsidies for renovation of buildings in the Special Revitalisation Zone not owned by the municipality.

For the whole of 2024, the city has awarded 14 such subsidies, totalling PLN 5 million, and they are mostly aimed at renovating the facades of tenements owned by housing communities or private individuals (e.g. 30 Próchnika Street, 30 Tuwima Street, 215 Piotrkowska Street, 35 1 Maja Avenue and others).

The city also reminds us that the call for applications for renovation grants in SSR 2025 (8th edition) has recently ended. It will be decided after the City Council of Lodz passes next year’s city budget. At that time, we will know which sites will be renovated or upgraded under the next tranche of grants.
