New colour finishes for AQForm

In lighting design, the focus is increasingly shifting away from technical specifications alone. Equally important is how a luminaire fits into the rhythm of the interior and complements the materials and colours used within it. The new finishes for AQForm luminaires demonstrate that light can be a deliberately chosen and cohesive element of the design.

Burgundy and Sandy – new colour accents in the space

PET mini horiz, AQForm

The most striking change to the existing palette is the addition of two new colours: Burgundy and Sandy.

Burgundy adds visual depth and elegance. It works well where lighting is intended to make its presence clearly felt and introduce a striking detail that helps define the character of the space.

Sandy has a more subtle effect. It lightens the luminaire’s form, allowing it to blend better into bright interiors and harmonise well with natural materials. It is a colour that does not compete with the architecture, but complements the entire design.

Shamrock Green, Straw Yellow, Ocean Blue – colour as a compositional tool

The AQForm palette also features shades that allow for a bolder approach to colour : Shamrock Green, Straw Yellow and Ocean Blue.

These finishes are ideal for projects where the finish itselfbecomes a key element of the visual concept. Green, yellow or deep blue can set the mood, highlight the functions of specific zones or provide a contrast to the finishing materials. In practice, this means even greater design freedom and the opportunity to employ a more unconventional aesthetic.

The Brutal collection – the natural rawness of the material

Alongside the new finishes, the BRUTAL collection is also being developed, comprising, amongst others, the following ranges: PET, EMOT, TRU, RAFTER, MIXLINE, OPTIMA and HOLLOW. The key factor here is not the colour, but the material and its raw character. The distinct texture fits perfectly with designs based on the natural expression of minimalism. This direction is consistent with the trend of combining decorative elements with a conscious selection of materials and details.

Taupe and terracotta – a calm complement to the palette

The palette is also complemented by taupe and terracotta finishes, available in most luminaire models, including Multitrack track lighting (in suspended and surface-mounted versions). These are colours that work well with natural materials and warm interior tones. Taupe is soft and delicate, creating a cosy atmosphere, whilst terracotta adds energy and a touch of spice to interiors.

The new AQForm finishes clearly demonstrate that a light fitting can be treated as a fully-fledged design element. Not only through its form, but also thanks to its colours and materials. From deep burgundy through the brightening Sandy, more striking colour accents, to the raw Brutal finish and the calm tones of taupe and terracotta. Each of these options offers architects different possibilities for working with space.
