Warsaw’s premium real estate market will be enriched by a new proposal from Archicom Collection. The developer has announced the launch of an investment with an intriguing name: Gutenberg Apartments. The two residential towers will be part of the Towarowa22 mixed-use project. The development is distinguished not only by its high standard of finish and prestigious location, but also by the presence of an original artwork by Andy Warhol in the lobby.
Gutenberg Apartments, designed by the renowned JEMS Architekci studio, will be built in a dynamically developing part of Warsaw, at the junction of Wola and Downtown. The location provides convenient access to key points in the city, including business and cultural centres. The project comprises two buildings with a total of 160 flats of varying sizes, from 40 to 350 sqm. One of the unique elements of the development will be the art collection adorning the common areas, the centrepiece of which will be Andy Warhol’s original work ‘The Alphabet Soup’. As the developer emphasises, the presence of the world-class artist’s work is expected not only to enhance the aesthetics of the space, but also to provide investment value for future residents.
The design of Gutenberg Apartments draws inspiration from the rich history of the site, where the “House of the Polish Word” Graphic Works once operated. JEMS Architekci architects have referred to the modernist architecture of Warsaw and the tradition of printing, using noble materials such as wood, stone and copper in the design. The common areas will be equipped with high windows covering two floors. Residents of Gutenberg Apartments will be able to enjoy a wide range of premium amenities, including a conference room, a lounge, a media room, a library with, among other things, books printed at the ‘Dom Słowa Polskiego’, a cinema room, a swimming pool, a fitness area and a spa. The development will also provide access to a green courtyard and a direct connection to a 2-hectare public park that will be part of the Towarowa22 complex.
Gutenberg Apartments is part of the larger Towarowa22 development, jointly developed by AFI, Echo Investment and Archicom. This mixed-use district aims to create a vibrant new space in the centre of Warsaw, combining residential, office, retail and cultural functions.
