In the furniture industry, there are brands that simply create products, and those that develop their own distinctive design language. For 18 years, BIZZARTO has belonged to the latter group, consistently developing its range of upholstered furniture whilst remaining true to values that are now more relevant than ever – timelessness, quality and honest design. Two new collections were premiered in Warsaw at the beginning of June. To create them, the BIZZARTO brand invited leading names in Polish design. The ARCH collection was designed by Mikołaj Nicer from Nicer Design, whilst the IRYS collection was created by Marta Niemywska-Grynasz and Dawid Grynasz from Grynasz Studio.
The founders of the BIZZARTO brand are Michalina and Tomasz Misiorny, who prove that Polish design can flourish without any complexes, based on the finest craftsmanship and standards. That is why, for years, they have been inviting top Polish designers to collaborate with them, creating timeless collections made in Poland. During the launch at Concept 11, Michalina and Tomasz Misiorny emphasised the importance of conscious design:
– It is experience that has taught us that true comfort and durability stem from well-thought-out designs. That is why we place such great importance on functionality, modularity and the harmony between design, comfort and the everyday use of our furniture. We have come a long way to reach where we are today. And this journey has convinced us that Polish design, Polish craftsmanship and manufacturing can today naturally contribute to the world of the premium segment. Without any complexes and without the need to compare ourselves to anyone else,” said the founders of BIZZARTO.
ARCH – detail and softness of form
In a world full of stimuli and haste, interiors that offer a sense of peace and comfort are becoming increasingly valued. It is precisely this approach to design that has given rise to BIZZARTO’s latest offerings. The ARCH collection, created by Nicer Design, is a design that is both expressive and subtle. Its strength lies in the combination of architectural discipline with visual lightness – a combination that redefines the relationship between people and space.

The distinctive arched legs harmonise with the soft lines of the seats and the rounded tops of the table and coffee table. This is a collection requiring precise craftsmanship, in which details that can only be created by human hands play a key role. Each piece has been designed to look equally attractive from every angle. The collection comprises a sofa, armchair, pouffe, coffee table, dining table and chairs. The arched legs can be finished in fabric or leather, and the table tops are available in several colour options.

IRYS – lightness inspired by nature
Grynasz Studio, on the other hand, offers a completely different, more organic interpretation of contemporary comfort. The IRYS collection draws on observations of nature and its soft, fluid forms. The delicate interplay of the surfaces of the armrests, seats and backrests brings to mind plant structures, from which the collection takes its name. The lightness of the construction and harmonious proportions make the pieces appear to float above the ground.

IRYS is a modular system that allows you to create compositions of any shape and size. The collection is available in a fully upholstered version or with wooden legs stained in various colours. It is complemented by wooden side tables, which can stand alone or form part of a larger arrangement.

An evening at Concept 11
The presentation of the ARCH and IRYS collections took place at Concept 11, which welcomed over 250 guests that evening – designers, architects, influencers and media representatives. The creators of both collections were in attendance, and discussions on contemporary design were led by Olga Kisiel-Konopka, owner of OKK! PR.

Guests had the opportunity to learn not only about the designs themselves, but also about the creative process and the inspirations behind them. Amidst the discussions on applied art, there was a prevailing belief that good design is not solely about creating beautiful objects. It is also the ability to build relationships between people and space.
The launch of ARCH and IRYS demonstrated that BIZZARTO is developing its own definition of comfort – based on quality, conscious design and respect for craftsmanship. It is also proof that the best design stories emerge when different sensibilities meet and the courage to create furniture that has the potential to remain relevant for years to come.
The event’s partners were the brands Brioni, Lignari by Jawor Parkiet, Kontakt-Simon and Zimmer Rohde.
