This is what the Ogrodowa 12 apartment building, which is being built in the heart of Poznań, is all about.

The Ogrodowa 12 development consists of two buildings – a renovated townhouse and a new complex with 120 flats. The project for the redevelopment of the old part and the new building was prepared by architects from the EASST studio. The historic tenement will retain its elegant appearance, while the new building will offer modern architecture.
The renovated tenement has six storeys, and 17 luxury flats will be created inside. More than half of the future residents will provide a view of Dąbrowskiego Park, while the windows of the other half will overlook a private garden intended exclusively for the tenants. An eight-storey building with 103 flats will be constructed at the rear of the site. Twelve of these will have as many as three levels. These are penthouses with private roof terraces. Another eight flats will have two levels and private gardens. There will also be studio flats in this section.

The space will be complemented by modern garden furniture, and a private coworking area will provide the opportunity for comfortable remote working. How did you come up with the idea for this space?
We wanted to create a natural connection between the park, the garden, the Theatre and the nearby Stary Browar, creating a harmonious space that combines an urban lifestyle with proximity to nature. The development’s green areas not only live up to its name, but are also an important part of the design of the space, where residents can enjoy relaxing in a natural setting despite being in the heart of the city. As the name ‘Ogrodowa’ suggests, we felt obliged to provide a unique arrangement that brings the idea of a garden to an urban environment. ‘Greenery plays a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, adding harmony to the whole place and enriching the living comfort of its inhabitants,’ explains Krzysztof Belcarz.
The designed common areas are impressive, with a design reminiscent of a hotel lobby. A reception area leading from Ogrodowa Street to the flats will serve a representative function. Residents will be able to count on concierge assistance here. The reception area will be filled with modern design and art. In the design, the architects based the project on friendly earth colours, which create a sense of security and a welcoming atmosphere. Residents will be able to enjoy a special meeting area in the annexe, where they can spend time drinking coffee or tea (Café Zone). Those who want to work in peace will be able to use the green zone on the ground floor.
