OKK!design returns to DOMOTEKA! The 21st edition of

Malwina Konopacka, Katarzyna Jarosińska or Magdalena Federowicz-Boule – these names open up a plethora of stars from the world of architecture and interiors who will grace the 21st edition of OKK!design. The popular and acclaimed event returns to DOMOTEKA after many years to join forces once again as part of the ‘DOMOdesign’ programme to take us on an amazing journey into the world of art, design and well-designed interiors.

Architecture and design in the spotlight

OKK!design is a series of meetings aimed at architects and interior designers, the main aim of which is to foster dialogue within the architecture and design industry. Organised since 2012, the event has become a permanent fixture on the schedule of key industry meetings, promoting good design, architecture and art. Initiated by Olga Kisiel-Konopka, founder of OKK! PR, it has gained a reputation as a space for exchanging knowledge, meeting experts and exploring the latest trends in the interior design industry. Although few remember that its first edition took place in Warsaw’s DOMOTECE, the venue remains particularly close to the organisers to this day. Now, years later, on 29-30 November this year, OKK!design will once again bring together a group of experts at 41 Malborska Street to share their knowledge of contemporary solutions and best practices in design. The free lectures and workshops organised as part of DOMOdesign will be open to both professionals and people interested in modern design, wellbeing and interior design.

Inspiring Friday with OKK!design

As in previous editions of the event, this one, organised in collaboration with DOMOTKA and taking place on the first day of DOMOdesign, will be packed with unique attractions. Friday’s guests will be treated to lectures, discussions and creative workshops.

The whole event will be opened by Olga Kisiel-Konopka, who, together with Agnieszka Drucis, Portfolio Manager at DOMOTEKA, will welcome the guests and host a meeting for the media. Then, TVN journalist Katarzyna Jaroszyńska will talk about self-presentation and the behind-the-scenes of working in television, and Marta Sawicka-Danielak will lead a workshop on ‘Relaxation in your own home’ with a Yoga Nidra practice in the Hästens lounge. The programme also includes an intimate meeting with Malwina Konopacka in her own showroom and an inspiring workshop dedicated to interior designers on creating moodboards, led by Ada Skwira and Małgorzata Liebhart of WZ Studio. Magdalena Federowicz-Boule, on the other hand, will present the Metropolitan Railway Station project in Lublin, and Ewa Mierzejewska will touch upon the importance of art in private and corporate spaces. In between speeches, event partners DYSON and Parkiet Hajnówka will present their products. Jacek Tryc, brand ambassador of Geberit, will share his expertise on designing timeless interiors. The day will conclude with a discussion on the role of art in education with representatives of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts – Faculty of Interior Design, Event Partner, and a meeting in the Novelle showroom.

Feminine sensitivity and creativity for the youngest

The second day of DOMOdesign promises to be equally inspiring. Saturday’s programme will include origami workshops for children, led by Magdalena Rukasz, and a unique meeting with Marzena Martyniak ‘Inner Harmony. The power of feminine sensitivity’. All this in an amazing venue, designed especially for this event by Łukasz Siwiec – the OKK!Design Meeting Point meeting and inspiration space.

As always, the 21st edition of OKK!design will be an excellent opportunity to participate in an event combining so many threads: the most desirable interior design of today, new trends, technologies, art and passion.
