Singer Billie Eilish appreciated the Chippensteel chair designed by a Polish designer and used the piece of furniture in her latest campaign to promote a perfume. Designed by Oskar Zięta, the chair was featured in one of the photos promoting the line.
The new campaign for the Billie Eilish perfume, promoting the ‘Eilish’ fragrance, attracts attention not only thanks to the singer’s artistic presence, but also thanks to an original detail – the unusual Chippensteel chair by Oskar Zięta. It is quite a success for the Polish designer.
The Chippensteel is one of Oskar Zięta’s numerous projects, for the creation of which a process of controlled deformation is used. The result is a piece of furniture that, made of cool metal, is both soft and pleasant to look at. The author’s FiDU (Freie Innendruck Umformung) technology gives the steel a dynamic, almost organic character, which in the Chippensteel chair captures energy and creativity. It is as if a piece of metal is simply ‘inflated’.

Zięta’s innovative approach, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, is gaining international recognition, giving Polish design a fresh and highly competitive image worldwide. The Chippensteel chair is one example of the designer’s distinctive work. Each piece of the chair is distinguished by unique carvings and patterns created during thermo-colouring, which emphasise the individual character. The chair is available in more than a dozen colours, but Billie Eilish opted for the Inox Polished version.
Billie Eilish made her debut with a proprietary perfume line, Eilish Fragrances, in 2021. The first fragrance, built around warm vanilla notes, was enthusiastically received by fans, allowing the artist to expand the collection with further compositions such as Eilish No. 2 and Eilish No. 3, introducing more dark and woody accents. The most recent addition to the line is a composition entitled ‘Your Turn’, the fourth instalment of the collection. The new fragrance was preceded by a carefully developed flacon design inspired by the motif of dice. The composition “Your Turn” balances sensuality, freshness and notes of warm wood.
