Over 20 works by Tamara Łempicka can be viewed on The Frame televisions.

Over 20 works by Tamara Łempicka are now available to view in the Samsung Art Store on Samsung The Frame televisions and selected Neo QLED Mini LED models. This is the first such extensive collection of works by the Polish artist to be made available in the Samsung Art Store. The selected works include iconic portraits and compositions characteristic of the Art Deco style, for which Tamara Łempicka became famous worldwide. This is the result of cooperation between the Polish branch of Samsung Electronics Polska and the Tamara Łempicka Foundation, which looks after the artist’s legacy.

A new collection has appeared in the Samsung Art Store – over 20 works by Tamara Łempicka, one of the most recognisable Polish artists of the 20th century. The works available include portraits and compositions in the art deco style, which can be displayed on Samsung The Frame TVs and selected QLED models in 4K quality.

Who was Tamara Łempicka and why does her art deco style continue to inspire?

Most of us are familiar with the portrait of a woman in a green dress and hat, with geometric facial features and a piercing gaze. This image has appeared in albums, films, advertising campaigns and on magazine covers for years. Its author is Tamara Łempicka, a Polish artist who became one of the icons of 20th-century world art.

Tamara Łempicka was born in 1898 in Warsaw as Tamara Gurwik-Górska. She became one of the most recognisable Polish artists in the history of world art. Her work became a symbol of the Art Deco era – a style that combined modernity, luxury and geometric precision of form. Lempicka was not only an outstanding painter, but also an icon of her era – a symbol of independence, elegance and artistic courage.

Today, Tamara Łempicka’s works can be found in the collections of the world’s most important museums, including the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi, and in private collections on all continents. Her paintings regularly fetch record prices at global auctions, confirming her enduring position in art history.

I am proud that my great-grandmother’s work is coming to the Samsung Art Store and to audiences around the world in such a carefully prepared form. Samsung treats her work with great respect, ensuring that the colours, details and quality of the works are faithfully reproduced. In an era of mass reproductions and low-quality copies, this approach is particularly important. It is an important step towards protecting and promoting her legacy at the highest level,” emphasises Marisa Łempicka, president of the Tamara Łempicka Foundation.

I am delighted that Tamara Łempicka’s works will be displayed alongside such renowned artists as Monet, Kandinsky, Picasso and Rembrandt, whose works can be viewed in the Samsung Art Store. This is undoubtedly always a premium choice, as we work with the world’s largest galleries and museums and consistently ensure that copyright is protected. As with our televisions, we offer not only entertainment, but also the highest image quality and extremely refined design,” says Piotr Stelmachów, VP Head of Consumer Electronics at Samsung Electronics Polska.

Samsung Art Store – over 4,000 4K works and collections from renowned museums

Samsung is consistently expanding its cultural offering, inviting users into the world of art beyond the visual. Thanks to dedicated apps such as the Vienna State Opera and the Berlin Philharmonic, Samsung TV owners can also enjoy the highest quality music and stage content, importantly, without leaving home.

Samsung Art Store is available to users of Samsung The Frame and The Frame Pro TVs, which feature a range of functions combining advanced technology with aesthetics reminiscent of a traditional painting. Its design is inspired by a work of art – thanks to its slim form resembling a real picture frame and a matte screen coating that eliminates glare and replicates the texture of canvas, the television becomes a decorative element of the interior when the display is turned off.

Art. Store is a subscription-based art service available exclusively on Samsung The Frame TVs and select Samsung Neo QLED and QLED models, offering over 4,000 works in 4K resolution. The collection includes works from over 50 renowned museums around the world, including the Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Art Institute of Chicago and Tate, as well as works by hundreds of artists from various countries. This allows users to create their own digital art gallery of the highest standard in their homes every day.

Samsung TVs also allow you to display your own private works, photographs or personalised graphics and wallpapers generated by AI, replacing the black screen of a switched-off TV.
