Overlooking the rooftops of Szczecin. Flat in the Hanza Tower skyscraper

Waking up in the morning with such a view of the city is the dream of many. The flat in the Hanza Tower skyscraper in Szczecin has 100 square metres. Its interior was designed by architects from the Loft Kolasiński studio.

The architects were responsible not only for the interior design, but also designed some of the furniture and renovated some of it. Thanks to this, the vintage furniture and accessories in the interior were given new life.

The flat is located on the 24th floor. It is quite a few metres above the ground, so its owners can enjoy an exceptional view from the windows. The panorama of the city looks different every season and, thanks to the huge glazing, becomes an integral part of the arrangement.

Natural materials such as wood, wool, linen and stone dominate the interior. Here you will find furniture and accessories designed by the Loft Kolasinski studio. Examples include the dining room table, wardrobe development, bed, bedside tables, kitchen and bathroom furniture. The original Loft Kolasiński design also includes steel joinery elements in the bathrooms.

To furnish the flat, we gathered a collection of furniture, lamps and accessories, mainly from Danish and Polish designers. Among the furniture and lamps, there were several vintage elements that underwent carpentry and upholstery renovation,” describe the authors of the project.

Of note here is the restored armchair by Ivan Matusik. This is a design from the 1970s, which was created to furnish the Kyjev Hotel in Bratislava. Another eye-catching element are the photographs adorning the walls. Photos by the duo Billy & Hells are complemented by posters from the Helmut Newton exhibition. Appropriate atmosphere is also created by utilitarian objects. A century-old jug for storing oil was brought from Greece.
