The new Pasibus in Wrocław is an establishment specialising in burgers. The new outlet was created in the drive-thru convention and its design was prepared by architects from the CUDO studio:.
The container-shaped body of the building evokes the atmosphere of a summer catering town, cut off from the template forms of typical chain stores. Raw steel, industrial finishes and glazed walls create a space in which every element – from the layout of the customer areas to the details of the materials – recalls Pasibus’ roots dating back to the early days of foodtrucking.
From its initial mobile foodtruck infrastructure, the Pasibus brand has moved on to a sophisticated operating system, enabling it to serve customers in literally minutes. Drive’s architecture was designed as a functional ‘wrapper’ for this new operating logic – from well thought-out service routes, to efficient backrooms, to ergonomic ordering stations.
The designers at CUDO: set out to draw on the existing attributes of Pasibus – the streetfood character, the raw honesty of the materials, the festival setting – while developing a completely new scale of operation. Where once a mobile foodtruck sufficed, today a distinctive block rises to meet the demands of a large chain without losing the spirit of an authentic burger shop.
The realisation of Pasibus and CUDO: is an example of a model partnership in which an original vision prevailed from the outset. The Wrocław location is the culmination of this history – a manifesto of a brand that is evolving and not forgetting its roots. With its distinctive architecture, modern solutions and carefully considered interiors, the venue is set to become a place that appeals to urban meeting culture from the very moment it opens.
