They have had fans all over the world for years. LEGO bricks delight both the youngest and teenagers with the endless possibility of creating their own worlds. They are an attractive form of play, being an alternative to entertainment on smartphones or tablets and, what is extremely important, they stimulate creativity and develop imagination. We have collected LEGO bricks sets that can be a perfect gift for Children’s Day, but not only!
This year, the LEGO brand is celebrating Children’s Day in a special way. Together with the Slowhop platform, it has selected more than twenty houses in Poland that can be rented during the weekend from 30.05 – 1.06. A surprise awaits the guests of the houses in the form of LEGO bricks sets, which they will be able to take with them as souvenirs after creative play with their families! You can read more about this action on the official website HERE. And in the meantime, we are back to reviewing sets that suit different age groups. Also those of age, after all, everyone is a child! :-)
An interactive train adventure
How to introduce children to the world of LEGO? A good option would be the LEGO DUPLO set, which, can be played with by children as young as two years old. The Interactive Train Adventure will allow you to build a short railway route and play the role of the train driver. Where will this colourful train go? Who will it take on board? That’s a sweet mystery for the kids. The fun is enhanced by the special function blocks – as soon as the train passes over them, realistic sound effects are triggered. Ready? Let’s go!

Blue’s family home
The animated series Blue is one of the most popular series for children. The Blue Family House set allows you to bring the stories you see on screen, to reality. The set is designed for children aged four and over. Thanks to the finely crafted elements that relate to scenes from the series, children have the chance to build their own cosy play space and write alternative scenarios themselves. How will the fate of the series characters unfold? Let this creative adventure be the start of an unforgettable journey – perhaps a talent is developing among today’s little ones that will allow them to shine in the future as a director, set designer or animation artist?

Set with helicopter, fire engine and submarine
This is a treat for seven-year-olds and older building enthusiasts. The set consists of a police helicopter with rotating propellers, a fire engine with extendable hose and a submarine with spherical cockpit. These three vehicles will become the pretext for an immersive adventure! Children can create their own action scenarios – from police and firefighters saving the city to mysterious underwater missions. Simply match the LEGO minifigures to start an amazing story. The fun is enhanced by the ability to split each vehicle into three parts and combine them with others. Playing with this set is not only about building, but also about developing problem-solving skills and practising creative thinking.

Flower typewriter
This is a 3-in-1 set, as it allows you to build three original structures (although your child’s imagination is sure to come up with more!). The Typewriter with Flowers set has an unusual vintage charm, which allows you to create a typewriter with moving keys and decorate it with flowers. You’ll want to display it on a shelf or bookcase. And if your child wants a change of scenery, he or she can use the set to make a flowerpot or keytar on a stand. All three are decorated with flowers in vibrant colours. The toy has been designed for children over the age of eight.

Ferrari FXX K
It is a design icon. Now the iconic Ferrari FXX K model can be invited into your own home! The LEGO bricks set allows you to learn about the construction, which will appeal to young car enthusiasts. The model faithfully captures the dynamic lines of the vehicle and the unique details of one of Ferrari’s most recognisable sports cars, combining the spirit of racing and sporting excitement with a modern aesthetic. The set consists of 897 pieces and is suitable for children over ten years old.

The dragon of chaos Sprout
This is one of the highly anticipated launches of the year! The Dragon of Chaos Gudge has already gone on sale online, but orders will go on sale from 29 May. The dragon is well known to fans of the LEGO NINJAGO series. It has a tail, huge wings and is armed with block throwers. Its distinctive colour attracts the eye, and the set is enriched with warriors, thanks to which children can play out battles between good and evil. The set is suitable for boys and girls aged eight and over.

Japanese lucky cat
It is a symbol of prosperity and happiness. The sympathetic cat is a unique proposal combining tradition with modern design, which refers to the world of Asian symbolism and culture. The set is inspired by the iconic Maneki Neko, a cat that attracts luck and prosperity with its raised paw. The delicate eye features and moustache add to the charm of the model. Such a cat will appeal to children who like anime, but not only!

Supply Lama
And how not to smile at the sight of her! The Supply Lama is a character from the game Fortnite, where she is an extremely helpful object. In her back is a box in which you can find lots of valuable materials and items. It is similarly featured in the LEGO bricks set. The llama has a movable head and an opening muzzle, as well as a saddle and equipment with an amulet of luck at the forefront. Importantly, this set is also available in the LEGO® Builder app, where little builders can zoom and rotate models in 3D. In total, the llama is 24 cm tall, making it an interesting decorative element in a child’s room.

Sherlock Holmes: Book nook
We know that big kids like fun too! Adults might like the Sherlock Holmes: Book nook set. It consists of 1,359 pieces that give you the opportunity to move to a Victorian London full of mysteries, more specifically to Baker Street, where you will find a carefully reproduced bookshop with a revolving shop window, a terraced building with sliding doors and a detailed replica of Sherlock Holmes’ flat with a fireplace or his favourite violin. The set is a unique decoration. The whole set can be folded and placed on a bookcase between your favourite books.
