Casa Andalusia is a unique reinterpretation of the Andalusian aesthetic that gracefully combines tradition with modern comfort. Located in the heart of picturesque Estepona, the 65sqm flat with its expansive rooftop terrace is a space designed to capture the spirit of the region.
Taking inspiration from local colours and craftsmanship, the designers at Also Studio introduced a palette of warm, earthy tones to the interior – broken whites, beiges and reds – complemented by delicate touches of green and blue that recall authentic Andalusian spaces. The lime plaster-clad walls exude a natural warmth, giving each room a cosy feel.
In the spacious living room, the traditional fireplace has been replaced by a decorative wall with irregular recesses that fit perfectly into the overall architectural expression of the flat. Softly curved forms flow subtly through all areas of the flat, creating a harmonious visual story and building an atmosphere conducive to both relaxation and daily activity. The handmade tiles, commissioned from a renowned Polish artisan studio, add a unique touch to the interior, while the beige tiling in the kitchen and the decorative arc tiled with subtle copper accents become not only decorative elements but also a testament to the attention to detail.
In the private sphere of the flat, a consistent but varied aesthetic emerges. The master bedroom, rendered in muted shades of beige and accented with soft tones of green, draws inspiration from natural materials and handmade tiles to create a calm and refined space. In contrast, the children’s room and adjoining bathroom delight in cooler colours, where blue accents meet a modern micro-cement finish. The architectural arches present in the bathrooms not only hark back to tradition, but also highlight the unique character of the finish, combining elements of the classic with innovative solutions.

The rooftop terrace, a natural extension of the interior, opens up panoramic views of the Mediterranean for residents, while offering functionality and an aesthetic experience of the highest level. The carefully designed space has been divided into several zones, each with its own unique character. The lounge space, surrounded by greenery, invites you to enjoy lazy afternoons, while the covered terrace area with a summer kitchen equipped with a modern barbecue, fridge and sink makes outdoor gatherings a real pleasure. It is impossible not to mention the relaxation area, where the jacuzzi perfectly complements the whole, creating the ideal conditions for relaxation on warm summer evenings. The rattan pendant lamps, elegant and original, seamlessly combine the interior and exterior design, enhancing the coherence of the entire project.

As a whole, Casa Andalusia pays homage to the traditions of the region while responding to the needs of the modern user. Every detail, from the original marble flooring to the restored door and window frames, demonstrates the passion and attention to the authentic character of Andalusian interiors. It is a space that not only reflects the history and culture of the region, but also invites you to experience daily the exceptional comfort and harmony between tradition and modernity.
