The house near Barcelona is 350 sq m in size. Its interior was designed by architects from the Loft Kolasinski studio. The designers focused on unique solutions and atmosphere. The latter was achieved through vintage elements.
The architects’ task was not only to design the interior, but also the furniture that would fit into this space. Among other things, they were responsible for the design of the steel joinery and the concrete washbasin. The house near Barcelona is new. Its construction was completed in 2024. Its great advantage is its location at the top of a hill, which provides beautiful views at any time of day or night.
The interior has a clear functional layout. The house consists of a living room, a kitchen connected to the dining room, three bathrooms and three bedrooms.
To give them a unique look, the architects designed much of the furniture themselves. Noteworthy here are the dressers and console in the living room, the wardrobes, the mirrors, the wardrobe development, the bed and the bedside tables. The architects also designed the dressing table and the bathroom furniture. The concrete washbasin and the steel joinery of the shower cubicle are impressive.
When fitting out the kitchen, we collaborated with the Danish brand Vipp, which supplied the furniture, accessories and kitchen appliances. For the project, we gathered a collection of unique furniture, lamps and accessories from Europe and Japan, explains the Loft Kolasinski team.
Among the design rarities are designs by Kengo Kuma, Jorn Utzon, Space CPH, Poul Henningsen, Verner Panton, Jean-Marie Massaud, Gianfranco Frattini, Joan Gaspar, Patricia Urquiola, Henning Koppel, Sami Kallio and Jean Prouv.
The house near Barcelona also boasts a beautiful terrace. The furniture for this area was provided by Pedrali and Carl Hansen & Son. The icing on the cake, however, is the art. The living room is hung with paintings by David Von Bahr.
