This is quite a success for the complex being developed in Gdansk. The Remedium investment flats in Gdańsk have been recognised in the international European Property Awards competition in two categories. The awards were granted by a group of experts, who appreciated the Tricity investment for its high quality and its positive impact on the immediate surroundings.
The intimate building with investment flats was designed by architects from the MS 15 studio. A few days ago, the investment won two awards in the European Property Awards competition, which is the European part of the international edition of the event. The competition rewards projects and developments in the fields of architecture, interior design and design. The best are selected by a panel of more than 80 independent experts. The competition recognises projects that stand out for their quality, innovation, functionality and environmentally friendly solutions, among other things. The winners of individual categories of the European Property Awards competition will be able to compete for victory in the global version of the event – the International Property Awards, which is sometimes referred to by the media as the ‘architectural Oscars’.
Domesta, which is realising the Remedium Apartments development in Gdańsk, was awarded in two categories: Apartment/Condominium Development and Architecture Multiple Residence. The group of experts appreciated the architecture of the building, which will stand on the site of the abandoned Maritime Institute of the Gdynia Maritime University.
Remedium is a four-storey building with three retail and service units. A total of 65 flats will be built, ranging in size from approximately 36 to 63 square metres. An underground garage hall is designed with 55 car spaces. An additional 8 parking spaces will be located at ground level.
The building is distinguished by the use of high-quality materials. This can be seen in the façade, whose grooves allude to the historical buildings of the district. An interesting architectural detail is the strip above the ground floor windows, which has been decorated with bricks laid at a 40-degree angle.
When designing the Remedium building, we focused on exploiting the strengths of the site – the character of the quiet, historic residential district and its central location on the city map. We managed to create an elegant building finished with high quality materials that refer to the details of the surrounding tenement houses and an intimate, green recreational space in the rear part of the plot. We hope that the investment will harmoniously fit into the landscape of the district, and for the owners and residents it will turn out to be an aesthetically pleasing and functional space in one of the most unique corners of Gdańsk,” says Martyna Lech ofthe MS 15 architectural studio.
The elegant chic of the building is given by the division into several sections and the use of different bricks on the façade. Their varied shades create a dynamic effect.
The units are sold with turnkey finishing. Their owners will benefit from the care of an operator. They will not have to constantly look after the investment, their space will be looked after by the Lux-Dom team, which will take a number of responsibilities off the owners’ shoulders, including changing towels or bed linen. Owners will be able to choose one of three packages for this service: Stable (handling long-term tenancy for a minimum of three months), Occasional (handling short-term tenancy – holiday, business, medical tourism-related), Student (handling periodic tenancy for students for 10 months a year plus short-term tenancy during the summer months).
