Rituals accompany us every day. They allow us to make the most of the day. They help us take care of effective work and relationships with loved ones. Some also help us to take care of ourselves, our body and soul. It is to rituals that we dedicate this issue of whiteMAD magazine.
In the ‘Fashion’ section, we review the collections prepared by the graduates of MSKPU in Warsaw. Justyna Kościółek and Anna Zentkowska presented them during the graduation show crowning their educational path. For a moment, we look back to Poznań, whose buildings became the background for a session by photographer Włodzimierz Kurowski and Natalia Kraty. Thanks to the latter, we take a stroll through Poznań’s Wilson Park.

Interior inspirations will be provided by the “Architecture” section. The WE’RE ARCHITECTS studio, designing a flat in Łódź, opts for minimalist solutions. Paulina Knapczyk demonstrates the power of colours by arranging a 90 square metre flat in Kraków. We also look at solids. The single-family house near Konin by the GAB studio is an example of modern construction among trees. Damian Florczykiewicz of YY87 Architektura, who designed a house in Tomaszkowo near Olsztyn, has also successfully combined architecture with nature. There is also something for fans of sweetness! Magdalena Pasiak of the boco.project design studio proved that even on six square metres, an attractive ice cream parlour can be created.
In the “Design” section, we recommend an interview with Konrad Weca and Artur Zakrzewski from Unism Store. The brand creates timeless furniture and accessories, which it uses traditional methods to produce. The interview was the occasion for a photo shoot with Konrad and Artur, the effects of which you can also see on the cover of this issue. The author of the photos is Daria Szczygieł.
A photographic thread appears in the ‘Portfolio’ section. We publish there the photographs of Patryk Wikaliński, who captures architecture in an original way. Next, Mateusz Machalski talks about typography, graphic design and brand rebranding.
