The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage encourages people to use it. The search engine for cultural events in Poland covers various corners of the country and makes it possible to find exhibitions, workshops or open-air film screenings. The database contains more than a thousand initiatives in which participation can be an attractive idea for spending free time.
The search engine can be found HERE: https://www.gov.pl/web/kultura/odwiedz-kulture-na-wakacjach
The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage has introduced a tool that makes it easier to find an attractive event in your area. The special search engine “Visit culture on holiday” already includes almost 1,000 cultural events spread out in every corner of the country.
The app’s interface is quite clear and intuitive. It is possible to see what is happening in the selected region in just a few moments (simply type in the city and the search engine will instantly filter the list of events). Creative children’s workshops, exhibitions in historic buildings, internationally renowned music festivals or atmospheric open-air cinemas – the range is diverse. Users can filter events by location, date or name of the institution, and additional criteria such as UNESCO World Heritage listing allow them to plan a holiday with a touch of historical and artistic discovery.

Importantly, the search engine is not limited to state institutions. Any independent organiser can submit a project by filling in a simple form available on the website. Thanks to this, the database of events is growing day by day, and the calendar of summer attractions is being joined by both local festivals and intimate recitals in restored manor houses.
An example of a musical event is the Wandering Festival of the Lodz Philharmonic “Colours of Poland”. Its 26th edition combines classical sounds with original spaces – historic churches, neo-Gothic temples or amphitheatres. The stages will host both Polish jazz and early music stars, as well as young artists reinterpreting the work of Wojciech Młynarski. Spectacular locations, from Złakowo Kościelne to Smardzewice, underline the idea of the festival: music as the key to getting to know regions and celebrating culture together.
