“A Doll’s House” is an interior design for a flat that Aleksandra Bronszewska designed for herself. The space is filled with positive energy, which manifests itself in the blue and powdery landscape used.
The flat described is located in Warsaw. It is an interesting example because we do not often write about projects that architects have created with their private space in mind. This is not the case in Studio Werner’s new realisation. The design features floral motifs and playful elements that will appeal to the youngest generation. The shabby chic style present here is a combination of vintage elements and modern comfort, resulting in a lively space.
The total area of the flat is 60 square metres. This is a new space that the architect has taken from the developer in 2023/2024.
The flat, which I designed for myself and my son, was a big design challenge due to the short timeframe, it took two months to complete including the design, says Aleksandra Bronszewska.
When designing, the architect wanted to create a space filled with joy, colours and positive energy. She wanted the flat to become a magical place.
(…) in which every step is a fairy-tale journey, full of inspiring elements, paintings of my authorship, a fresco on the wall, in the kitchen – adds the designer.
Pastel colours, floral motifs or donut motifs are just some of the elements that are meant to give the impression of being in a doll’s house.

The studio about itself:
Our mission is to design and arrange interiors with character. Interiors that will become a dream come true – unusual, unique and aesthetically pleasing, yet functional. We approach each of our projects with passion and commitment, because a job well done and a beautiful end result is the best reward for us and confirmation that what we do, we do well. What characterises Studio Werner and the projects coming out of our hands is the ability to seamlessly combine everything that is most important in a perfect space. This kind of work requires, above all, the courage to create; to create out-of-the-box designs and to go beyond the usual patterns. We look for non-standard solutions, and complement each one harmoniously with unique details.
