SPANISH TOUCH – discover Spanish design in Warsaw

Spain impresses with its beautiful landscapes, delicious cuisine and numerous world-class monuments. However, it should also be remembered that it is a true paradise for all lovers of architecture and design. Thanks to the Spanish Embassy with the support of the OKK! PR agency, it will be possible to get to know the ‘designer face’ of Gaudí’s homeland in Warsaw on 19 June. On that day, as part of ‘SPAIN IS IN’, we will be celebrating the Spanish Design Day under the motto ‘SPANISH TOUCH’.

Poland’s first exhibition of Spanish design and discussions on architecture will take place on 19 June at Hotel Barceló Powiśle (43A Wybrzeże Kosciuszkowskie St., Warsaw). Spanish brands such as Alvic, Cosentino, Espattio, Inclass, LZF Lamps, Naturtex, Ramon Soler and Kontakt Simon will present their portfolios.

Inspiring presentations from leading Spanish brands will be accompanied by speeches from special guests. Among them will be: Alberto Veiga (Barozzi Veiga), author of the spectacular Szczecin Philharmonic project, as well as architect Magdalena Federowicz-Boule (Tremend) and architect Marta Wierusz (APA Wojciechowski Architekci). The meeting will be chaired by Marcin Szczelina – architecture critic and curator, expert on the European Mies van der Rohe Award.

The substantive part will be followed by a cocktail, during which the invited guests will have the opportunity to talk and exchange experiences.

The Spanish Design Day is organised by the Spanish Embassy in Warsaw with the support of the OKK! PR AGENCY.

The organisers invite architects, designers, media and lovers of good design. Free entrance after prior registration: spain@okkpr.pl
