This spring promises to be truly inspiring at DOMOTECE in Warsaw! Under the slogan “O mamma Mia! Perfetto design!” DOMOdesign is being launched. On this occasion, the interior design centre will turn into a pulsating oasis of creativity, Italian energy and original design inspiration. On 16 and 17 May we will be able to feel the atmosphere of the iconic Salone del Mobile trade fair.
On the occasion of these two days, an extensive programme full of workshops, exhibitions and meetings with leading figures in architecture has been prepared, where modern design will meet the latest trends. In addition, on Friday and Saturday afternoons visitors will be treated to special price offers on selected products – an ideal opportunity to enrich their interiors with unique design at attractive prices.
Friday for lovers of beautiful interiors and professionals
On Friday, 16 May, a special programme awaits DOMOdesign participants, prepared mainly for architects and interior designers. On that day, the centre at 41 Malborska Street in Warsaw will become a place for exchanging knowledge and experiences. It will be a day full of interesting meetings and discussions about the future of design. Among the attractions are:
– ‘Instagram for architects and interior designers’ workshop with TVN journalist Katarzyna Jaroszyńska,
– katarzyna Kraszewska’s lecture ‘Premium customer service in interior design’,
– a meeting with Małgorzata Szczepańska and the protagonists of the book “Rozmowy nie tylko przy stole”, Marta Niemywska-Grynasz, Dawid Grynasz, Krystian Kowalski and Paweł Jasiewicz
– a presentation by Katarzyna Wietecha architekt_mo_home on building an interior designer’s image on Instagram,
– presentation of the ‘Salone del Mobile Report’ by Olga Kisiel-Konopka of OKK! PR with the participation of, among others, Katarzyna Kraszewska, Anna Koszela or Katarzyna Wietecha and experts from SGI and Deante,
– the workshop ‘Designing the future. How AI can change interior design’ with Daria Chylińska from AiHouse,
– relaxation workshop “Yoga Nidra – The Yogi’s Dream” led by Marta Sawicka-Danielak
– the workshop ‘The law in the work of an interior designer’ with Agata Sacharuk,
– your interior on the cover” workshop on effective promotion of projects in the press and online, led by Anna Grużewska
– the workshop “Designer vs contractor” led by Ada Skwira and Małgorzata Liebhart of WZ Studio.
Saturday for families – creativity and inspiration classes
On Saturday, 17 May, DOMOTEKA invites you to a day full of attractions prepared for whole families, both children and seniors. The programme includes workshops, meetings with experts and events related to interior design, relaxation and art. There will also be candyfloss and Italian music. Planned activities will include:
– workshops to create a “forest in a jar”,
– a workshop demonstrating how to make a soy candle,
– an activity where children create colourful compositions from natural moss and learn about natural curiosities,
– a painting workshop culminating in the creation of their own painting under the guidance of an instructor,
– an introduction to the practice of YOGA NIDRA – a session of deep relaxation on comfortable beds,
– a practical presentation on the technical acceptance of the apartment by Decoroom specialists,
– origami workshops for children,
– styling advice as part of the “Shopping with a Stylist” campaign after DOMOTECA with Łukasz Siwiec, the ambassador of DOMOTECA, and Agnieszka Lesiuk, interior architect and interior design expert on the “Question for Breakfast” programme.
– workshops on creating dream moodboards – visions of ideal interiors with products from the brands available at DOMOTECE,
– conversations with experts as part of the ‘Conversations with Perspective’ series on architecture and mutual creation of ideas,
– a workshop entitled “Where to start investing in art?” led by Ewa Mierzejewska,
– advice on caring for plants in domestic interiors organised by TOMASZEWSKI.
In addition, there will be free advice throughout the day from architects and interior designers: Justyna Ciurzyńska (TAKAPRACOWNIA), Agnieszka Grajek and Jędrzej Turant (BEETER HOME INTERIOR DESIGN) and Monika Jabłońska-Sulej. Interior design studio Decoroom was also among the participants in the event. Experts will be present in the company’s zone on 16 and 17 May to talk about turnkey interior design services and provide advice on interior design. On Saturday, it will be possible to talk here about the technical acceptance of flats in developer condition.
Paper magic and interior art
The exhibition ‘Subjectively’ will make its debut at DOMOTECE on Friday. The exhibition, printed by LEO Art, will present a personal selection of interior design covers, photographs and frames, chosen by the editors of leading interior design magazines. Each of the projects on display has previously been published on the pages of the titles represented. The exhibition was born out of the need to emphasise the role of the traditional printed press – its unique atmosphere, value, as well as the emotions associated with the touch of paper and the smell of ink.
Test drives from BMW Auto Fus
During the test drives on Friday and Saturday, visitors will have the opportunity to test the BMW iX1 and the BMW X3 hybrid models. The presentation of the vehicles is being prepared by BMW Auto Fus – the Authorised BMW Dealer in Warsaw. The DOMOTECE exhibition will also feature the BMW i5 model, a modern electric car synonymous with innovation, elegance and sustainability. The exhibition has been prepared in collaboration with acclaimed Polish designer Maja Ganszyniec.
Competition “Get inspired at DOMOTECE”
From 6 to 15 May 2025, DOMOTECA invites customers to participate in the “Get inspired at DOMOTECA” competition. To take part, you need to have a public account on Instagram, visit DOMOTECA, record a roll showing a product or an arrangement from one of the showrooms, publish it with the appropriate tags and hashtags. The prizes, sponsored by the showrooms located in DOMOTECA, will be awarded during the final on 17 May. Details of the competition can be found on DOMOTECA’s Instagram.
You can already see that the DOMOdesign in May is much more than a programme of weekend attractions – it is a real journey into the world of imagination, art and design. The smell of paper, the touch of furniture, Italian inclinations and the sound of conversations about interiors will make it memorable as a celebration of creativity and passion. One of the highlights of the event will be a live cooking show performed by Grzegorz Zawierucha – winner of the 8th edition of the ‘MasterChef’ programme.
