Start of submissions for the Architectural Award of the Mayor of Warsaw

Submissions are now being accepted for the 12th edition of the Warsaw Mayor’s Architectural Award. Warsaw residents can nominate projects that changed the face of the city in 2025. The poll covers buildings completed last year and architectural events. Entries will be accepted until 8 February, and the winners will be announced in June.

The next edition of the Architectural Award of the Mayor of Warsaw is beginning. For the 12th time, you can nominate a square, building or event related to the capital’s space that impressed you last year.

As previous editions of the competition have shown, good architecture is not only about beautiful form, but above all about dialogue with the environment and respect for the user. We want to highlight those projects from 2025 that prove that aesthetics can go hand in hand with responsibility,” emphasises Rafał Trzaskowski, Mayor of Warsaw.

Investors, design teams, event organisers and publishers can also submit their achievements and projects.

Residents of the capital can now submit their favourite buildings, spaces, events or publications on architecture.

We are interested in places that make Warsaw a more liveable city. I am counting on your perceptiveness – it is often local investments that become the hallmarks of a district. A new square, building or revitalised tenement house has an impact on how we spend our time and how we feel in our shared space, adds the mayor.

Nominations for the Architectural Award

The best projects and events can be submitted using the form available at www.nagroda-architektoniczna.pl. Submissions will be accepted until 8 February.

In addition to the awards granted by a jury of experts, at the turn of April and May, each resident will be able to vote for their favourite in a public poll. The winning projects will be announced in June.
