Summer memories recorded in fabrics – the latest collection from Elements Wear

The ‘Crops’ collection by Elementy is a journey to the heart of the Polish countryside – smelling of fresh bread, resounding with the radio playing somewhere in the background, warmed by the sun and full of the sound of swallows making circles over the yard. It is a memory of holidays, homely warmth and daily closeness, the rhythm of which is set by nature.

Materials and Construction

The new collection is inspired by the Polish countryside, holidays at grandma’s house and all the little images that form our collective memory: gooseberries plucked straight from the bush, embroidery on a bedspread, a bouquet of field flowers. The garments have been created from natural fabrics – linen, cotton and embroidered poplin – in a light colour palette. At the heart of Plons are the original prints by Magdalena Kilarska – creating a watercolour collage of Polish summer motifs: cornflowers, challah, enamel cups or bumblebees.

“The prints in this collection are the result of brainstorming in our team – it started with associations, memories of holidays – different for each of us, but equally strong. Some remember the smell of bread pulled out of the oven, others the sound of ‘Summer with the Radio’ playing in the background, swimming in a cold river and the smell of grass in a meadow after rain on a hot day. We carry these images, sounds, tastes and textures still alive within us. We wanted to capture this nostalgic, non-obvious idyll. As always – we dressed them in the best quality fabrics, timeless forms and details that are important to us. – Basia Oramus, Head of Design at Elements.

Collection

In Plons, you will find, among others, the Blow dress – a model with many silhouettes in mind, with a midi length, V neckline, flared sleeves and pockets that add functionality. The Honey top and Helen trousers, on the other hand, is a set reminiscent of old underwear. The set consists of wide trousers on ¾-length elastic band, decorated with a large frill, and a top forming a cascade of frills tied with bows. Each design is completed with details: creases, ties, frills, and collars – acting as classic, stylish accessories.

Generational closeness in summer light

The photographs accompanying the Crops collection take us into a world of emotions and everyday closeness. Inspired by Vermeer’s paintings, they focus on tender gestures and domestic rituals that build relationships without the need for excessive words. The soft light, the light colour palette – white, straw, muted blue – evoke the atmosphere of a summer morning in the Polish countryside. It is a story of simplicity, hospitality and generational bonds, enclosed in frames reminiscent of a family album.
