Interiors that truly reflect the personality of the occupants are rarely the result of a single decision. More often they are created in a long process in which successive choices, both large and seemingly small, shape a coherent whole. This is how a flat project in Łódź by the OSOM group studio was created, where the inspiration came from the aesthetics of the Ritz Hotel in Paris, and every element of the space is the result of a dialogue between the owners and designers.
The investors had a clear vision of their future home. They knew how they wanted to use it on a daily basis and what functions were most important to them. The architects supplemented this vision with knowledge of materials, proportions and solutions that would ensure durability and comfort for many years. The starting point was the aesthetics of the Ritz Hotel in Paris. This inspiration was only the beginning, as further elements were added or removed during the design process to best reflect the character and needs of the residents.
One of the most striking touches of the interior is the custom-made stucco by an artisan. Its ornaments were based on motifs chosen by the owners, which gave the whole a unique and personal dimension. The stucco includes carefully selected furniture and fittings. Gessi fittings, Karman lighting and perfectly crafted woodwork were used here. In the living room, the eye-catcher is the Togo armchair in the limited edition La Toile du Peintre from Pierre Frey, which is interesting in its expressive colours with a wealth of textures.

The design was created in close dialogue with the collection of art and tapestries that have accompanied the owners for years. The interior was shaped from the outset with these objects in mind, rather than being adapted to a ready-made arrangement. The Ice Jade stone staircase, which has become the focal point of the space, is also a unique element.
The Łódź flat by the OSOM group is an example of an interior that is resistant to fads. It has been planned in such a way that it can change and evolve together with the residents, maintaining its personal and highly original character and timeless elegance inspired by high-end Parisian luxury.
