Bez Kurtuazji is a space that creates an atmosphere of freedom from the very first moment. The subdued colour scheme, based on warm shades of beige, is broken up by striking yellow accents and soft, organic forms. This deliberate contrast gives the interior its character – calm yet distinctive, designed with natural gatherings in mind. The project was designed by bello studio from Rzeszów, which translated the owners’ values into a cohesive, authentic aesthetic.
From the outset, the co-owners of the venue sought to create something more than just another dining concept. Their motto, ‘Casual and without unnecessary formality’, became the very foundation of the design process. This approach defines the atmosphere of the place – open, unpretentious and focused on genuine connections. The interior does not flaunt its decorative elements; instead, it serves as a backdrop for gatherings, conversations and the work of the foodmakers preparing Tuscan schiacciata.
Natural aesthetics
Design at Bez Kurtuazji does not dominate. It has been designed to create an atmosphere subtly, without an excess of visual stimuli. Warm beige tones evoke associations with sand and southern landscapes, whilst yellow accents add energy and emphasise the character of the place. The aesthetic does not follow seasonal trends – it is intuitive, rooted in natural associations and the brand’s philosophy. Limiting the means of expression has allowed for the creation of an interior that is sincere, cohesive and conducive to relaxed gatherings.
Materials
The textures and finishes found in the venue are no accident. Rough surfaces, soft transitions and the natural irregularity of the materials all reference the process of making schiacciata – the product that forms the cornerstone of Bez Kurtuazji’s offering. This is a subtle yet clear reference to the artisanal nature of the bread, its texture and the handiwork behind every loaf. As a result, the interior gains authenticity and character, whilst remaining calm and harmonious.
Details
The venue’s identity is shaped by its details. The striking colour scheme and irregular forms guide the eye and organise the composition. The yellow mosaic and elements that break the mould tie the architecture to the branding, creating a recognisable visual language for the brand. The most distinctive feature is the organic form clad in sunny tiles that fills the shopfront. This element draws guests’ attention inwards – towards the work of the foodmakers and the process of making schiacciata, which forms the foundation of the entire concept.
Bez Kurtuazji leaves a lasting impression thanks to its coherence, consistency and attention to detail. The atmosphere here is shaped by deliberate design choices, the quality of the materials and the venue’s philosophy, which prioritises authenticity. Ultimately, it is people who create true hospitality, and a well-designed space becomes its natural backdrop.
