The house at Dworkowa 7A in Gdańsk is once again a sight to behold.

A comprehensive renovation of the municipal building at Dworkowa 7A in Gdańsk’s Olszynka district has been completed. Seven flats with a significantly improved standard have been prepared in the four-storey building. From the outside, the building has essentially retained its historical appearance, while its interiors have undergone a complete transformation.

Dworkowa 7A in Gdańsk is once again a sight to behold

The building dates back to around 1930 and has a fairly simple, symmetrical and classic form. It consists of a ground floor, two upper floors and a residential attic, above which there is unused space. The building has no basement. The scope of the investment carried out by Gdańskie Nieruchomości included construction, insulation and finishing works. As part of these works, the load-bearing elements of the house were reinforced, the foundations were protected against moisture and the thermal parameters of the partitions were improved. The roof and window and door frames were also replaced, and the façade once again pleases the eye with its white colour and brick finish on the ground floor. In the case of the windows and window frames, differences from the original can be seen. Some of the sashes have different dimensions and altered divisions, while the original bricks and arched lintels of the ground floor windows have disappeared under the new clinker. This is not a significant modification, but it has impoverished the pre-war architecture.

The interior of the house at Dworkowa 7A has also undergone major changes. New plaster and flooring have been laid, and the historic staircase and common areas of the building have been renovated. All seven flats have been equipped with new plumbing and electrical installations. The heating system was replaced from tile stoves to radiators, and new gas and water and sewage installations were laid. In addition, photovoltaics were installed on the roof, which will help tenants reduce their electricity consumption. The premises were finished to a standard that meets current technical requirements, with basic equipment.

Dworkowa 7A in Gdańsk – value of the investment
