The story of this house in Karpacz is the story of a relationship that has matured over the years. The client, for whom the razoo architekci studio had previously designed the interiors of a hotel, invited them into her private world years later. She had known the house well for a decade, but over time it no longer suited her needs. She asked for a metamorphosis – first of the night area and then of the living area. The result was two worlds, different and yet coherent, intertwined into a harmonious whole.
On the ground floor, the living space extends – open, full of light, radiating energy and joy. The stable base of wood and concrete has been broken up with cheerful accents: pink onyx, coloured glass, lamps with playful forms. Warm beiges meet pink and yellow here, creating an atmosphere of lightness and optimism. This is an interior that is meant to please – to bring a smile and give energy. Wooden furniture with organic lines and art with expressive colours build the character of the house – feminine, confident, but also self-ironic and full of life.
In the lounge area, a Pushman sofa became the focal point, lending softness and comfort to the space. The living room also features a Vazoo bookcase from Tamo, filled with books and art, while in the kitchen, subtle handles from Marbelo emphasise the elegance of the furniture. Switches and contacts from Vectis discreetly complete the whole, becoming a detail that shows attention to detail.
The first floor of the house is a completely different mood – intimate, soft and muted. The night area was conceived as a cocoon, a space in which to hide from the world. Warm, deep colours wrap you up, fabrics invite you in with a touch, and soft light creates a peaceful rhythm in the evening. The bedroom is dominated by an upholstered bed, covered by a heavy knitted bedspread from Panapufa, which gives the interior a cosy feel. Tamo tables have been placed next to the bed, and a Ray bookcase from Piece of wood, filled with books and personal mementos, has found its place right next to the window. In the corner of the bedroom, there is a Ronin chaise longue with footrest from Noti, ideal for an evening’s rest. The whole is complemented by a soft carpet, which emphasises the atmosphere of intimacy. The hallway featured a Febe chest of drawers from Tamo, introducing an elegant rhythm right from the entrance. The private bathroom with its black bathtub, wooden furniture and warm tiles has become a place for the daily ritual of relaxation.

Two floors, two moods – a shared harmony. The ground floor plays with colour and form, the first floor soothes with silence. This house is a portrait of its owner – a woman who consciously shapes her surroundings. It was not designed to impress, but to please. Razoo architects have created a space that talks about life, energy and the need for tranquillity. The house in Karpacz has become a place where everyday life takes on colour and rhythm, and where architecture and design weave into a story of conscious, vibrant style.
