This is a new spot on the Tricity design map. The latest showroom of the iHome brand has opened in Gdynia. Inside, objects designed by the most famous names in world design have been collected. The iHome showroom is a place where you can find help in decorating or renovating your home with the support of specialists.
Opened in Gdynia at 239/3 Zwycięstwa Avenue, the showroom is the second facility of its kind owned by the iHome brand. The first has already been operating successfully in Radom, enjoying great customer interest.
With music about design
The event was attended by well-known designers and architects, representatives of the media and editors-in-chief of interior design and architecture magazines, and last but not least – lovers of good design and fashionable interiors.
The opening of the new iHome showroom was also honoured with the presence of special guests – Małgorzata Szczepańska, a well-known journalist and lover of good design, and Jakub Szczęsny, the first Polish architect whose work has been included in the permanent collection of New York’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), and the author of several books, including a perverse tale about architecture entitled Welcome to a World Without Architects. In the relaxed atmosphere of Thursday evening, the guests shared their experiences and talked about contemporary architecture and its often unobvious facets. There was also a discussion about current interior design fashions and the preferences of Poles decorating their homes. The meeting was chaired by Olga Kisiel-Konopka, owner of the OKK! PR AGENCY.
The evening culminated with a recital by Sabina Jeszka, a singer who rose to fame after taking part in the third edition of the “Mam Talent!” programme. At the same time, the invited guests could enjoy delicious dishes prepared especially for the occasion and indulge in inspiring conversations in a relaxed atmosphere. At the same time, each guest was presented with a special gift in the form of Kyuka x iHome porcelain candles. This successful and positive evening bodes well for the newly opened showroom.
Partners of the event were the companies: Bålstil, Kaczkan, panoramah! and Swisstec, while media patronage was provided by magazines and portals: “Elle Decoration”, “Design Alive”, “Wprost”, “Czas na Wnętrze”, “Label”, “Weranda”, “Magazif”, “Designteka” and OKK! design.
