This is the event we have been waiting for all year! This weekend the Fair of Nice Things Winter! – the most iconic edition of the Fair of Nice Things. And this year, also the biggest in our history! As many as 400 brands and creators of Polish design from all over Poland – an absolute record! This is where the best of the best meet, this is where amazing premieres and thousands of gift ideas await. The grand finale of the best year in the history of TRŁ will take place on 29-30 November at the EXPO XXI hall in Warsaw. It will be the event of the season and will be honoured with the presentation of the TRŁ DEBATE OF THE YEAR award!

There has never been an edition of the Fair of Nice Things like this before!” – say TRŁ organisers Ajka Mroczkowska, Anna Pruszyńska and Paweł Stremski. “We are celebrating the best 12 months in the history of TRŁ with flair and we are proud that for two hot “blackfriday” days in EXPO XXI in one place you will see thousands, THOUSANDS of nice things from the best names and brands that would delight not only Warsaw but also Berlin, Copenhagen and Amsterdam. A feast is an understatement. It will be designer fine dining!” – they add.
The biggest edition of the Fine Things Fair in its entire 13-year history promises to be amazing. Almost 400 exhibitors, 10 thematic zones, more than 70 outstanding debuts and thousands of gift ideas for yourself and loved ones. FURNITURE, CERAMICS, PLAKATY, LAMPS, TEXTILES, ACCESSORIES, WELLNESS and ECO ZONE, BICYCLES, CHILDREN’S PRODUCTS and the DELI boutique zone – all this will be waiting for thousands of visitors for two days in – bigger than usual! – hall 1 at EXPO XXI.

The number of premieres and delightful new brands will be staggering at TRŁ ZIMA! Such an overview of Polish design has never been seen in Poland before. Wood, steel, ceramics – everything will be here! One of TRŁ’s icons, the NUDO DESIGN brand, in collaboration with Belif, debuts with a new furniture brand – SOTE. Their minimalist bookcases promise to be excellent. As do the absolute premieres from OLGA’S STUDIO, which debuts with a collection of ceramic lamps and another lamp debut – STUDIO LARUM. The latest collection of modern sofas and armchairs will be shown by MONTOWNIA MEBLI, while BUKET STUDIO will present seductive mirrors in colourful frames. The CLUE brand, nominated for debut of the year, will seduce Warsaw with fantastic lamps inspired by the paintings of Wojciech Fangor, and KLAVO will show how jewellery charms can inspire the creation of personalised lamps from 3D printing. In turn, the premiere collection of furniture and accessories in steel will be presented by the NITY brand – these objects will ennoble any interior. As will the collection of lamps and objects NOWO BY OLIWIA LEDZINSKA, known, among other things, from exhibitions at the Łódź Design Festival.
The TRŁ ZIMA! event will be the stands of the brands nominated for the TRŁ DEBIUT OF THE YEAR title. Slavic myths dressed in the modern form of wooden collectible figures is the LUDISM brand, which is one of the most interesting phenomena on the market of new Polish design. MILL MOOD STUDIO, in turn, is a debut collection of colourful wooden spice mills – practical and brilliantly designed. Must see this edition.
The huge CERAMICS zone will host more than 70 companies, including the legendary MANUFAKTURA W BOLESŁAWCU, whose stand always impresses with its combination of classic and modern, the cult ÅOOMI STUDIO, the phenomenal and uncompromising GROOVI, the beloved ceramics brand of Instagram, i.e. the unmistakable TRZASK CERAMICS, and this year’s delights of the Pretty Things Fair – the Krakow-based KRUSZ CERAMIKA studio, which seduces with its colours and soft shapes of mugs, vases and bowls, and ZBIÓD STUDIO, an unusual combination of vintage aesthetics and modern ceramic and glass design. Both of these brands are also nominated for the TR£ DEBIUT OF THE YEAR title. Boutique glassware at TR£ will be shown by the much-loved STAR STUDIO, but also the debut of LORKI GLASS, whose colourful glasses promise to be a fantastic gift idea. GABI STRAMA, AGATA PUŁAWSKA and MOSKO CERAMICS are already ceramic classics from TR, while premieres such as HAL. PROJECT or JEHN CERAMIKA, who will show a unique collection of several dozen ceramic birds, may turn out to be the discoveries of this edition.
Vintage lamps from NO BEIGE FEELINGS will once again steal the audience’s affections, as will RONDIN – consistently captivating the best debut of the Pretty Things Fair two years ago. There is also a fantastic line-up of 3D-printed projects from brands such as FOPPA, whose homemade accessories have already found their way into hundreds of homes, WONTEK, with its unique lamps inspired by Polish folklore, and BLUBA STUDIO, whose lamps and impressive 3D-printed stools are impossible to pass by indifferently.
The impressive PLAKAT zone will bring together the biggest illustrator names from all over Poland. Next to BARTOSZ KOSOWSKI – DAWID RYSKI, next to JUSTYNA FRĄCKIEWICZ – PAULA DUDEK, next to ADA ZIELIŃSKA – PATRYK HARDZIEJ. Screen prints, collages and even calligraphy – the choice will be enormous. Such a gathering of fantastic illustration artists is the envy of events all over Europe. In addition, there will be a huge selection of the best books on art, design and architecture at the BOOKAREST bookshop stand, as well as top publishers such as WYAWNICTWO SIOSTRY and KRYTYKA POLITYCZNA – there will be plenty of books for Christmas at TRŁ. And calendars, of course! The minimalist, already iconic KAL calendars in new variants are just the tip of the iceberg, plus notebooks, planners, puzzles and everything else we like best about paper.
For two days, EXPO XXI will become the largest presentation area in Poland this year. THOUSANDS of ideas for original and quality gifts will satisfy every fan and every fan of Polish design. From vintage HERMES scarves or fashion handbags to fantastic home textiles from FRANKA, CASA MANTA or MY ALPACA to a huge selection of jewellery from the most interesting Polish ateliers such as MAAR or OPLOTKA. And then there is YAMANN, a trip into the world of products from leading museum shops around the world, with a selection of great foreign designer brands such as AREAWARE straight from the Bronx in New York.
We are delighted to welcome Ola and MICHAEL ŻEBROWSKI to TR³ with their fantastic brand F’ALKO serving a non-alcoholic alternative to sparkling wine. You’ll find them in the much-loved DELI zone full of great local produce and boutique food brands. Making a pre-Christmas stock-up more than advisable!
Who will be TR³’s DEBUT OF THE YEAR? From designer Slavic myths to lamps inspired by Fangor’s art
During this edition of the fair, the awards for the best DEBIUTE OF THE YEAR at the Trade Fair of Nice Things will be presented for the third time. The list of 10 nominees includes brands and names that can proudly represent new Polish design.
There are local ambitious furniture brands COTO KIDS and HARDWOOD, there is fantastic ceramics from ZBIÓD STUDIO and CERUSZ CERAMIKA, there is an exceptional creator of architectural mirrors – KASIA SZYBKA, there are CLUE and KASPA lamps, and finally there are decorative figurines from LUDISM and wooden mills from MILL MOOD STUDIO and innovative wooden blocks from QUBTRIX.
We will find out who will win the DEBIUT OF THE YEAR award on Saturday evening, but throughout the weekend, a fantastic exhibition presenting the nominated brands and products, designed by NOKE Architects, will be waiting in the middle of the TRŁ fair hall.
The winners will receive a ceramic statuette designed by ARKADIUS SZWED, an outstanding ceramicist from the School of Form, and a special prize is a publication about the winning brand in next year’s issue of ELLE DECORATION magazine, which is the Patron of the TRŁ DEBIUT ROKU award.
And this is just a small sample of what will be happening on 29-30 November at TRŁ ZIMA! in the EXPO XXI hall in Warsaw’s Wola district. Almost 400 exhibitors from all over Poland, two days with the best independent design, the most important brands, designers and creators plus the unique atmosphere of the Fair of Nice Things! If you love Polish design, are curious about new products and trends, like to surround yourself with nice things and meet interesting people – this is the place and this is this edition! And if you are simply looking for inspiration, good energy and an idea to spend a fantastic weekend, you should not miss this event – the biggest design fair in Poland.
