Nova Edition cares for fabrics like never before: it has the world’s first InfinityCare drum without takers, which provides exceptionally gentle washing and drying, protecting fabrics and extending their life. The honeycomb structure, which is characteristic only of Miele’s drum, has been improved with larger, three-dimensional, smoothly rounded elements – the so-called mothballs – which help to move the laundry gently. The new technology also makes use of artificial intelligence: thanks to sensors in the matrices, the washing machine adapts the movement of the drum to how the laundry behaves – the fabrics are rotated using a swinging motion that is fast and dynamic or particularly slow and gentle.
The revolutionary SmartMatic automatic programme on Nova Edition washing machines ensures the same water and energy consumption per kilogram of wash no matter how full the machine is. If you use TwinDos automatic dosing, your washing machine will use less detergent with a smaller load. SmartMatic will allow you to do your daily laundry up to 4 kg easily, always efficiently, starting at 30°C. The FlexLoad function automatically adjusts the water and energy consumption and duration of all programmes to the size of the load.
Nova Edition introduces unprecedented solutions for drying fabrics. With QuickPowerDry, you can dry up to 4 kilos of laundry in just 49 minutes! Finally, you can dry woollen fabrics safely and quickly without using a special basket. In the WoolDry programme, woollen clothes are dried so gently that they always remain soft and fluffy, retaining their shape.
Nova appliances are an eye-catcher. The significantly larger-than-usual high-resolution MTouch colour control panel gives extraordinary operating comfort, and the dark BlackEffect glass, also used in the large, expressive door, gives the appliances a modern look and elegance. AmbientLight lighting creates atmospheric accents while making it easy to insert and remove laundry or refill detergents.
