The chance to showcase one’s products at the Salone del Mobile in Milan is a dream come true for virtually every furniture brand in the world. So far, only a handful of Polish manufacturers have managed to achieve this. Artu is now joining this select group. This young furniture brand emphasises unique design and high quality, supplying chairs, armchairs and tables created by world-renowned designers.
The participation of the Polish brand Artu in the upcoming Salone del Mobile 2026 in Milan is an event of exceptional significance both for the company itself and for the entire Polish design industry. Simply expressing an interest in taking part is not enough to secure a place at the Milan fair. The organisers carry out a rigorous selection process to ensure the high standard of the entire event. The brand’s approach to contemporary design and its openness to original design has been recognised and appreciated by the Italians, meaning that as early as April, visitors from all over the world will be able to view the brand’s products.
From the first chair to Milan
How was this achieved? The brand’s success has been driven by the philosophy that has guided it since its inception. Since 2021, Artu has consistently developed the idea of creating modern and unique furniture for the HoReCa sector and offices. The company focuses on solid wood and metal, combining them in designs that stand out for their ergonomics and refined aesthetics. This synergy of functionality and form means that Artu’s products find their way into restaurants, hotels, offices and private homes.

It is worth noting that one of the company’s first successes was the Wox chair collection, designed by Pavel Vetrov and winner of the Red Dot Award. It was this moment that provided the impetus to create a fully-fledged furniture brand, which today carries out contract projects across Europe, as well as in the Middle East and Asia.
Top designers
The Polish brand, based in Łomianki, invites designers from all over the world to collaborate on furniture projects. Among them are Moritz Putzier (Germany), Francesco Favaretto (Italy), Bambu Studio (Spain), Pablo Regano (Spain), Stéphane Chapelet (France), Levantin Studio (Italy) and Sami Kallio (Sweden). Each designer is carefully selected; it is not only market potential that counts, but also the philosophy behind the concept of a given product.

A nod to culture
Artu is not limited to furniture production. The team consists of people deeply immersed in the world of design, for whom design is a form of dialogue with the audience and the contemporary world. The company regularly organises exhibitions and cultural events, such as ABOUT CHAIRS with Moritz Putzier or YOU THOUGHT IT WAS JUST A CHAIR in collaboration with Freya Architects in Belgrade. Another event is planned for Warsaw this autumn. The brand is also developing interdisciplinary projects, including a collaboration on the release of its own vinyl record featuring electronic music – an initiative that underscores Artu’s view of design as part of a broader lifestyle.
Reasons to be proud!
This year, Artu joins the ranks of the few Polish companies that will present their collections at the Salone del Mobile – an event that has been setting the trends in global design for decades. For the brand, this is the result of several years of effort and proof that its consistency and design quality have been recognised by the fair’s organisers.
The Artu stand, which will be on display from 21–26 April 2026 at Fiera Milano Rho, is being created in collaboration with Wojciech Nowak from Kraków-based Noww Studio. The design is intended to be a conceptual, memorable space that remains true to the brand’s philosophy.

The idea behind the design of the ARTU stand was to create an environment that would showcase the furniture in a museum- or gallery-like manner. This gave rise to the idea of a uniform yet striking wall constructed from steel apses. Each apse provides a space to display a single piece, in this case a chair. The modernist language of forms and materials maintains the exhibition’s elegant aesthetic. “A warming touch is provided by the use of clay plaster mixed with straw chaff and sisal flooring, which is intended to emphasise the connection to nature that the designer perceives in ARTU’s furniture, ” says architect Wojciech Nowak.
For ARTU, participating in the Salone del Mobile is not only a matter of prestige, but also a strategic step in building global recognition. Milan is the place where the most important architects, designers, curators and representatives of the contract sector come together.
The culmination of many months’ work will be a presentation in Hall 18 at Stand C10. It is there that visitors will be able to see the results of the collaboration between Artu and Noww Studio. See you there!
