The Rose Labyrinth has appeared in the centre of Warsaw. It is an artistic installation that the NOKE Architects team designed for Magda Butrym and H&M. The designer has designed a special collection for the brand, and the rose installation is part of the promotion for the event.
The NOKE Architects team was invited by H&M to create an artistic installation to celebrate the launch of Magda Butrym’s collection. Together with set designer Ania Witko, they designed and built a space that is more than just a set design. The authors of the installation wanted it to act on the senses and be memorable.
Our starting point was the rose labyrinth – a garden designed to lead, surprise and sometimes lose you – until you find the rose hidden in the centre. This idea became the heart of our installation. It is a space to walk through, to feel, to discover. Red – the colour of H&M – gives it intensity, direction and drama, the authors of the project explain.
The project encompassed both the indoor area, where the collection launch takes place, and the outdoor relaxation area – an open, welcoming space created for the pleasure of being together. H&M invited Lukullus, who prepared unique confectionery compositions for the occasion.
However, the Rose Labyrinth on Marszałkowska Street is only a temporary installation. You can only go inside on 24 April.
