The table is the foundation! The most fashionable tables that Poles have come to love [TOP 10]

The heart of the home, the foundation of family life; a piece of furniture without which it is impossible to imagine feasting with friends. Together with the Pufa Design shop, we have selected ten of the most interesting tables from its range.

Pufa Design customers appreciate beautiful, original, but also solid design. A table is a piece of furniture from which we particularly demand the latter feature: it is to be a bastion of safe everyday life, both symbolically and literally. Below, we present wonderful furniture from the Kołobrzeg store’s range. Take your pick. Something to think about before making an important purchase decision. Which one will you choose?

Szycha

Although made of solid oak, it looks a bit like a jewellery pendant, a bit like a composition of pebbles. The Szycha table, designed by Iwona Kosicka and handmade to individual order, is an example of unusual, one might say artistic, thinking about wood. It becomes a material. It can be hidden under a layer of paint, change colour, take on other shapes – but it remains a natural, ecological raw material. And durable. Because Szycha is not a sculpture “to be looked at”, it is a solid piece of furniture!

Leaf

If falling leaves were as beautiful as the Leaf table they gave their name to, we would want autumn to last forever! The bamboo tabletop, triangular in shape with gently rounded corners, rests on a solid metal base. The Houe brand is renowned for its high-quality garden furniture, but it also strives to give its designs a certain individual character, thanks to which you will recognise them in your garden or gazebo even at the end of the world.

Hven

If you wanted to illustrate the phrase “Scandinavian-style table”, all you would need to do is show Skagerak’s Hven. The material? Solid oak in its natural colour. The shape? A rectangular tabletop on four legs. Nothing else is needed for a table to be a table. Hven can be placed in a dining room or restaurant, but also in an office. It fits into almost any interior design and colour scheme. It is universal!

Base

The Base table (Muuto), as its name suggests, can serve as a base, the starting point for your interior design. Because transforming a space into a home begins with placing a table in it. Especially if it is a beautiful and solid Base. The simplicity of its shape is counterbalanced by a very careful, well-thought-out finish. The colours are white, black and natural oak, presented in various combinations. It is discreet, Scandinavian in style, yet somehow different. It makes you want to sit down at this table and start thinking about the next stages of decorating your home.

In arrangements of this type, the key element is the communal dining area. To achieve a similar effect of elegance combined with durability, it is worth choosingahandcrafteddining tablefrom meblezmetalu.pl, which fits perfectly with the high ceilings of tenement houses.

Avangarde

A table inspired by contemporary architecture? This is how Miloni presents its Avangarde furniture. Indeed, this design plays with geometry while maintaining a classic, basic form. However, it is an elegant, living room-style play, without any extravagance that would deprive the object of its basic function. A table designed in this way fits into modern, bold interiors; however, the material – oak wood – and natural colour mean that “Avangarde” will also look good in amore traditional setting.

Star

Another oak design by Iwona Kosicka – Star – at first glance appears to be a classic table with a round top. As is often the case with stars, it delights with its beautiful legs. However, this is not art for art’s sake: the shape of the base allows chairs and people to comfortably fit under the table. Star can be finished in natural or slightly bleached wood, white or black. It is elegant and practical. In the world of furniture, it is a real star!

Split

Here is another table with beautiful legs, Split by Muuto. This time, the base is curved. The material is the leader of our review – oak wood, which in this form has gained extraordinary visual lightness. The tabletop is 220 cm long, making Split the perfect piece of furniture for the dining room, but also for restaurants. We guarantee that it is a great place to feast, discuss and rejoice. You can also exchange loving glances over its tabletop… Because the discreet beauty of this piece of furniture encourages you to celebrate the beauty of the world and the beauty of life.

Sketch

The Houe brand does not only create garden furniture. The Sketch table is designed for the dining room, the one at home, under the roof. However, it has retained the lightness and casual charm of outdoorfurniture . The metal legs are fancifully bent, but sturdy. The tabletop, covered with black or white laminate, boasts beautiful oiled oak edges. The design allows for comfortable use of the table and then sliding the chairs under the tabletop. A picnic in the dining room? Why not!

Kompas

The Polish brand Nurt loves natural materials: wood, stone, leather. It values them in the form in which nature created them, and when it has to process the raw material, it does so using traditional, ecological methods. The Kompas table demonstrates a love of nature in yet another dimension. The tabletop has a circle made of burr wood in the centre, which is wood that has been altered by disease, but is also beautiful and unique. This is how design teaches us to admire the diversity of the world, whose beauty sometimes reveals itself to us in unexpected and surprising ways.

Leaf

Flying tables are not only found in fairy tales or conjuring tricks. Leaf by Ton is based on a simple, almost ascetic design (recognised with the “reddot award 2017”) . Where does the magic lie? In a small detail: the legs at the top are rounded, making the tabletop (round or rectangular) appear to levitate above the table frame. Scandinavian style with a touch of fantasy. Wild imagination tamed by the needs of everyday life. And, of course, solid workmanship, as befits the Ton brand. We like such designs “with a twist”! And with great taste.
