Over five hundred entries, an impressive standard of design and an exceptional variety of approaches to materials and colour – this is how this year’s edition of the Woodeco Interior of the Year competition can be summarised in a nutshell. The jury faced a difficult task in selecting the eleven best projects from among entries that demonstrated just how skilfully Polish designers can work with atmosphere, function and detail.
The fourth edition of the competition showed a clear shift towards spaces that not only look good, but above all meet the real needs of users. The submitted entries were dominated by schemes with a balanced colour palette, refined in terms of materials and designed with the comfort of everyday life in mind. It was precisely this maturity and ability to create atmosphere that became one of the key evaluation criteria.

This year’s edition of the competition confirmed that Woodeco materials are becoming not only a tool for designers to create functional interiors, but also a way to build atmosphere and the individual character of a space. The winning projects demonstrate that contemporary design is increasingly bold in combining aesthetics with emotion, and that a conscious choice of materials is becoming the foundation of a successful project.
