‘There Was No Campsite Here’ – a summer collection about holidays on your own terms

*Pan tu nie stał* presents *Camping*, a collection about spending holidays in the great outdoors, tucking into sweet cherries and solving crosswords. Here you’ll find everything that matters most on a camping trip: lounging in a hammock, pitching a tent, cooking outdoors and playing hide-and-seek. For tourists who stick to the beaten track and those who like to get lost. In summer, many things are forgiven – the main thing is to be out in nature and do things your own way.

For camping and a trip into town

The products in the Camping range have been designed so that you feel comfortable in them whether you’re on an outdoor holiday – whether in a tent, in the mountains or on the beach – and in the urban jungle, when you want to look a bit more smart, but without being overly formal. Here you’ll find, for example, a viscose set comprising a shirt and a skirt-trousers hybrid, which looks great whilst being comfortable and breathable. Perfect for an art exhibition opening, a night out with friends, a bike ride or a day at the beach. All the garments in the range can be styled to work well in the city, yet they still have that camping flair and practicality. Comfortable cotton tops and T-shirts, breathable viscose pieces, and cosy, warm sweatshirts. These aren’t just one-off outfits. Camping is just one option. The choice is yours.

A summer twist on nostalgia

As is often the case with camping products, there’s no shortage of nostalgic elements that stir emotions and memories. Among them, you’ll find classic enamelled camping cookware featuring pantone-coloured graphics. There’s also a recurring motif on several products of the wingless black fly – a little bug that reminds us of our childhood. This insect is known by different names in various regions of Poland. In some places it’s called a ‘tramwajarz’, in others a ‘porefoser’, and in yet others a ‘moskalik’. The collection also features a sentimental pattern reminiscent of a retro beach towel. The design is full of holiday motifs – flowers, cherries and all sorts of little insects. There’s no shortage of such nostalgic items amongst the camping accessories either. A little ‘Piterek’ bag for all sorts of holiday treasures – feathers, pebbles and twigs. It’ll also hold your essentials for your trip, such as your passport, wallet, sunglasses and sun cream. And of course, when you’re camping, you’ve got to have matches! Featuring an image of two tram drivers in a moment of romantic rapture. The Camping Collection is a real trip down memory lane with a modern twist.

Camping together

Holidays are a time we usually spend with our loved ones. Shared activities are the central theme of the summer series ‘Pan tu nie stał’. You’ll find loads of them on one of the patterns. Solving crosswords, playing hide-and-seek, yoga on the grass, cooking together outdoors and playing cards. All in good company, surrounded by nature, on your own terms. What would a camping trip be without the people we want to spend it with?

An offline holiday: a collaboration with Oficyna Wypoczynek

Old-school camping is analogue camping – focused on activities we can enjoy without a phone, the internet or a computer. In our camping collection, you’ll find plenty of references to offline activities. One of these is our collaboration with Oficyna Wypoczynek, which has resulted in two products – an issue of the magazine ‘Wypoczynek’ in camping colours, featuring a crossword puzzle linked to our range, and a leisure T-shirt with a crossword puzzle on the back. With these products, we want to encourage you to spend this summer holiday in the real world – with your mates, your wife, your husband, your brother, your brother-in-law, your little one and your pet. Perhaps solving crosswords whilst out in nature? Why not!

It’s all in good fun – anything goes on holiday

What else inspired us when creating the Camping series? Well, the fact that we associate holidays with unbridled freedom. With finally having the time to do things your own way, to live by your own rules. Sometimes you can treat yourself to something you wouldn’t normally allow yourself under other circumstances. Like lying in bed until midday, popping down to the local bakery in your pyjamas, going to bed at dawn, or perhaps even having ice cream for dinner! On holiday, you simply get away with more. We’ve decided to highlight this in our collection, which is why you’ll find playful, whimsical touches that emphasise letting go. Giving yourself space for a laid-back attitude and imperfection. Don’t worry. You’ll get away with it.
