Comfort plays a key role in these interiors, and the design was inspired by the magic hidden in the charming corners of the city. The Tulip Residences Lviv Hotel is a new addition to Lviv’s tourist map. It was designed by Polish architects from the renowned Tremend studio.
Polish architects with a project in Lviv
This is another recent European project by the Tremend studio, following projects in Riga, Budapest, Strasbourg and Barcelona, among others. In Lviv, Polish architects were responsible for the comprehensive reconstruction and modernisation of the existing facility and the interior design of the three-star Tulip Residences Lviv hotel. Many years of experience gained in Poland and abroad allowed Tremend architects to perfectly respond to the profile of the lifestyle brand TULIP Hotels & Residences (Louvre Hotels group) and the needs of the modern traveller, for whom the boundary between home and hotel is often blurred in today’s dynamic world. In hotel spaces, they seek comfort that provides a setting for celebrating everyday rituals, even the simplest ones. At Tulip Residences Lviv, guests can find it all: a place to rest after a long journey, a co-working space to work in concentration, and a restaurant and bar where the buzz of leisurely conversations lingers until late in the evening.
A homely atmosphere and a backdrop for atmospheric meetings
The architects from the Tremend studio were commissioned to develop the functional layout and interior design of the facility, including the rooms and common areas: the lobby, dining area and conference room. This gave the designers the opportunity to create a coherent, original vision – an atmospheric aura that can be experienced in every corner of the hotel.
The authors of the concept used warm materials, soft upholstery, solid wood and impressive greenery, introducing an element of nature into the interiors in line with the philosophy of biophilic design. The vibrant social heart of Tulip Residences Lviv is the restaurant and bar area, whose design pays homage to the artistic spirit of Lviv’s café culture. It is a place that encourages interaction, the exchange of ideas and spontaneous meetings, where time passes more slowly.
The common areas have been designed as open, flexible spaces with a clear division into zones for meetings, individual work and informal relaxation. In the lobby, cosy furniture, including shelves filled with plants and books, combined with atmospheric lighting, create the impression of a cosy living room that invites you to stay. Thus, the energy of the city meets unforced calm, allowing for a perfect balance.

Tremend, or expert knowledge and international reach
Responsible for the interior redesign of the Tulip Residences hotel, the renowned Tremend studio has been gaining experience in the hospitality sector in Poland and abroad for over 15 years. All this has made Tremend a trusted partner for major brands (Accor, Hilton, Marriott, IHG and Meininger), and the studio’s portfolio of completed projects includes facilities throughout Europe. In recent years alone, Tremend’s extensive portfolio has been enriched with hotel projects in Paris, Barcelona, Strasbourg, Budapest and Riga, among others. These include such gems as the boutique Alberte Hotel in a renovated Parisian townhouse and the luxurious Mövenpick Hotel Budapest Center in the heart of the “Pearl of the Danube”. Earlier, at the invitation of the Louvre Hotels brand, Polish architects participated in the development of standards for the TULIP Hotels & Residences long-stay brand and an implementation project in Paris.
