Roborock Flexi Pro

When looks matter. Roborock Flexi Pro hoover

Traditional cleaning often involves tedious vacuuming followed by wet mopping. Modern technology means that this process can be much shorter and more enjoyable. Roborock Flexi Pro is a new hoover on the market that cleans dry and wet at the same time, offering a smarter and more efficient way to keep your home impeccably clean.

It is truly amazing that the Roborock designers have managed to fit so much functionality into such a sleek and compact device. The Roborock Flexi Pro hoover has just made its debut on the Polish market. However, I got my hands on it a few days before the official launch. What are its features?

First impressions: A revolution in cleaning

I must admit that cleaning is not one of my favourite activities. Having to pull out the bucket, pour the water, rinse the mop over and over again, wait in stillness for the floor to dry… Fortunately, modern technology makes cleaning easier.

The Roborock Flexi Pro is designed to clean dry and wet surfaces simultaneously. The device is equipped with a powerful motor and the suction power reaches up to 17,000 pascal. This effectively removes both dry and wet dirt. This applies not only to light dust, but also to sand or food residues. The design of the hoover proved to be another plus point – the rotating shaft extends almost to its full width, so the hoover can easily deal with dirt right at the edges of walls and furniture.

Flexible design for hard-to-reach areas

I was also pleasantly surprised by the flexible design. When in use, the handle of the hoover can be turned fully towards the floor, making it easy to reach nooks and crannies under a cupboard or bed. Tracking down a dirty surface is made easier by the built-in reflector. Another convenient feature are the hoover’s wheels, which have been designed in such a way that, together with the roller, they change direction of rotation depending on whether the hoover is pushed or pulled. This ensures smooth operation and makes cleaning easier.

Intelligent control and self-cleaning technology

At the top of the appliance, there is a small touch panel – the command centre where we can change the operating power. Although the suction power can be adjusted automatically, I recommend leaving this choice to the hoover itself. Roborock Flexi Pro is equipped with sensors that allow it to determine the degree of dirt and automatically select the power at which it works. A coloured icon on the screen indicates which power is selected.

After cleaning, there is no need to manually remove and wash the roller. The device is equipped with technology that will do this automatically. Simply put the hoover back in the station. The rollers are cleaned in two directions with water at 60 degrees Celsius. This process is complemented by a flow of hot air (55 degrees Celsius), which guarantees hygiene and readiness for further work within 30 minutes.

Maximise efficiency with the Roborock app

To get the most out of your hoover, download the Roborock app to your smartphone. From your phone, you can start the automatic cleaning of the roller, determine the heat level of the water used in the process or check the battery charge level. A voice assistant will help with cleaning, reminding you to empty the water tank, for example – a particularly useful feature when you are busy with everyday chores.

You might also ask, how long can you clean with the battery fully charged? This is something I have not been able to test. My flat is 45 sq m, and it only took me exactly 10 minutes to clean the floor in all rooms. The manufacturer claims that you can clean up to 50 minutes on a single charge, which allows you to clean an area of up to 420 sq m.

The best model for you

Roborock Flexi hoovers are available in two versions. Above I described the capabilities of the Roborock Flexi Pro, at the same time the Roborock Flexi Lite model debuted on the market. Both models have a similar design, but differ on a few key points.

The Roborock Flexi Lite is designed for smaller homes and flats, with a slightly shorter battery life (up to 40 minutes). It also has a longer automatic cleaning and drying process of 60 minutes (compared to 30 minutes for the Flexi Pro). Additionally, the Roborock Flexi Lite is lighter and has a slightly smaller water container, making it more convenient in small spaces.

So which model should you choose? It depends on the size of your house or flat and your household habits. For families with pets, the Roborock Flexi Pro may prove to be a saviour, those with smaller needs will certainly be satisfied with the Roborock Flexi Lite.
