The capital of Lower Silesia is developing intensively. Integrated Paediatric Centre
On the thirteenth of January, a contract was signed in Wrocław for the construction of an Integrated Paediatric Centre for PLN 223 million. Many new specialities will be created here, such as paediatric neurology and rheumatology. You can read more about the investment here: An Integrated Paediatric Centre will be built in Wrocław. PoWROTY tenements programme

Expansion of Wrocław Airport: the largest investment in the port’s history
The largest ever modernisation of Wrocław Airport has begun. The project, worth PLN 376 million, aims to increase capacity and adapt the airport to growing passenger traffic and military operations. The work has been divided into two phases, the first of which includes the expansion of the operational infrastructure and the second the enlargement of the terminal and car parks. The first phase, which will last until the end of 2026, will see the construction of a new apron for 12 aircraft, a 2.5 km taxiway and a de-icing apron. This will give the airport the capacity to handle more aircraft simultaneously, including intercontinental aircraft, and double the take-off and landing capacity. The second phase involves the expansion of the terminal and car parks. The planned changes will allow the airport to handle up to 10 million passengers a year, doubling its current capacity.

Due to the scale of the works, the airport will be closed for 40 days – from 26 October to 4 December 2025. This decision is dictated by safety and minimising the impact of construction on passenger traffic. The airport management ensures that all airlines and passengers have been informed well in advance. The expansion of Wrocław Airport is a milestone in its development. Thanks to the investment, it will be possible to accommodate more passengers, handle larger aircraft and develop the network of connections. As President Karol Przywara emphasises, the project secures the future of the airport for several years, making it one of the most modern in Poland.
We will watch the implementation of the announced investments. We await with interest the effects of these projects, which are aimed both at developing the infrastructure and improving the quality of life for residents. You can read about planned investments in other cities in Poland HERE.
