Maciej Zień’s anniversary show was one of his biggest ever. Maciej Zień’s ‘Black and White Symphony’ collection played on the stage of the Grand Theatre of the National Opera. On this special December evening, magic happened! More than 1,000 people spent this December evening in the theatre

The collection is a summary of these 25 years and at the same time the opening of the next stage of creativity. The entire collection was bracketed by Zień’s characteristic classics and lightness of playing with fashion. Favourite lines, cuts, beautiful fabrics, tailoring craftsmanship and workmanship. As always, all the designs put femininity on a pedestal, which is sometimes romantic and other times predatory. It was simply a symphony of femininity

Guests moved to a stave of shapes, white and black creations. Zień showed that classics can be played with, and black and white can have many facets and shades. A monochromatic collection, changeable, dynamic, constantly evolving, where the only colourful accent was a red creation. After all, red is an indispensable accent for feminine evening looks. In this collection, a symbol of the desire to play, experiment and intrigue. “I want to have fun. Fashion is supposed to be a pastime, a way to express my personality. The creation is supposed to tune in like in music to its protagonist.” – says Maciej Zień

“Black and White Symphony is more than a show. It is a spectacle and an artistic event where fashion became music and interiors completed this anniversary story. One of the acts took place on the catwalk, and there 39 models presented the latest collection. Among them, Macieja’s muse Aneta Kręglicka and in a wedding dress by Kate Rozz. The second act – took place among the audience. More than twenty Polish Stars at the show appeared in creations from the Designer’s latest and previous collections. Among them were Danuta Stenka, Magdalena Cielecka, Maja Ostaszewska, Agnieszka Grochowska, Magda Mołek, Olga Bołądź and many others. The sounds of this symphony complemented each other so perfectly
