It is small. The station in Jaktorowo has been refurbished

The tiny station in Jaktorowo was built in the 1950s. Its renovation has just been completed. Passengers have gained a modern facility where they can buy a ticket and wait for a train in comfort

The redevelopment of the station was carried out as part of the Station Investment Programme 2016-2023 with EU funding from the Infrastructure and Environment Programme

The station in Jaktorowo has a surface area of 75 square metres. After the reconstruction, the facade of the 1954 station has been given a contemporary look. The new window and door frames were kept in shades of grey, and the façade was made of light clinker bricks. In addition, the building received night-time illumination and new inscriptions with the name of the station

The interior has also been modernised. The air-conditioned waiting room is equipped with squats, display cabinets for timetables and electronic boards for train arrivals and departures. Right next to the waiting room there are toilets and a ticket office, the railwaymen report

What has changed around the building? The pavement has been replaced, parking spaces have been designated, including for people with disabilities. A stand for electric cars has also been created. New urban furniture, bicycle racks and shelters for single-track vehicles have been set up

The railway station in Jaktorowo has gained environmentally friendly solutions. A heat pump, an intelligent building management system (BMS), which will optimise electricity, heat and water consumption, has been installed

The station platform itself was modernised between 2014 and 2015. During the works, one island platform was replaced by two platforms. The level crossing was removed and replaced by a tunnel for pedestrians and cyclists. Jaktorów station is located on the route from Warsaw East to Skierniewice. The reconstruction of the station cost PLN 3.6 million. The investor was the Polish State Railways
