It’s beautiful! This is how ceramicist Ola Nadolny lives

Ola Nadolny runs her own brand ‘WOLNO CERAMIKA’. Her home is a collection of many objects that are carriers of memories. She made many of these colourful objects with her own hands. How did she arrange her living space?

The house is located in Milanowek. The town used to be a summer resort for Warsaw residents. Hidden among the old trees are many beautiful villas from the 19th and 20th centuries. One such building houses a family of four – Ola Nadolny with her husband and two daughters.

The house is under constant renovation, but we have managed to carve out the space where we currently live. We managed to renovate the ground floor, which consists of a kitchen, a living room with a dining area and access to a terrace,” says Ola Nadolny.

There are also two bathrooms and two bedrooms for the residents to use. The entire interior was designed by the owners themselves, so the space reflects their sense of aesthetics or interests one hundred per cent. Ola is a ceramicist by training and has an extraordinary aesthetic sense. She also loves good design, Scandinavian and Polish design.

In the interior of the house, the original division of rooms has been preserved. The interior is characterised by an eclectic style and a bold combination of furniture and accessories. Some of the items come from popular home furnishing shops. Ceramic objects by Ola can also be found in the rooms.

The artist’s workshop was created next to the house, in the garage. – ‘ It’s very convenient that I can work from home while having a separate space where I can create,’ says the artist.

An asset of the building is the omnipresent greenery in the neighbourhood. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden with old trees. There is a greenhouse, which is used for recreation on warm days . The owner organises dinners for friends here, but also ceramics workshops.

We like living here. Weare 30 minutes from the centre of Warsaw, but every day we experience idyllic life and an aura of constant holiday thanks to the climate of the city – adds Rafał, the owner of the house.
