Dolnych Młynów 10 – revitalisation of a Krakow factory from NOHO

Dolnych Młynów 10 Kraków is a unique revitalisation of the former Cigar and Tobacco Factory, on which a flat and service complex of the ultra-premium segment is being built, with a gastronomic concept of the European level and a five-star hotel

The tobacco plant at Dolnych Młynów Street was established in the second half of the 19th century on the initiative of the Mayor of Krakow, Professor Józef Dietl. Production started in 1876. It was one of the first tobacco factories in Poland. The factory operated almost continuously for over a century. The last cigarettes at the Dolnych Młynów Street factory came off the conveyor belt in 2002

Over time, restaurants, bars and cafes moved into the local post-factory buildings. Their complex became one of the most popular entertainment venues in the city. Now, this historic and unusual place will completely change its face – it will gain new functions, the space between the buildings will be redeveloped, and the buildings themselves will undergo renovation and be adapted to meet the highest standards

This one of the most iconic buildings in Krakow is located in a central location in the city, just opposite the newly opened Wisława Szymborska Park, which we wrote about HERE. NOHO assures that their new investment at Dolnych Młynów 10 is an address which, apart from the highest quality of architecture, design and attention to detail, will offer its residents unique amenities in the form of common areas, i.e. a fully equipped club room with a kitchen, an intimate cinema room, a cigar room, a coworking space with a reading room, a sauna, a massage room or a fitness room – the total area of the arranged relaxation zone is over 500 square metres

The common areas of the buildings will be powered by heat pumps and photovoltaic panels, and each apartment building will be equipped with a small rainwater retention system. The project’s surroundings are abundant with greenery, and are enriched by a unique sculpture of the ‘Beautiful Man’ by the esteemed Polish artist Paweł Orłowski, as well as works by a young generation of artists in the common areas. Residents will also benefit from eco-friendly solutions, smart home features and a proprietary mobile application for property management and booking of common areas and associated services
