The house in Tomaszów Mazowiecki is the latest project by architects from the MOOD Architekci studio. The single-family house was created for investors who value simplicity and harmony in architecture.
The restrained front, to add variety to the architecture, was given a green patio – illuminating the entrance area. The complementation of the building’s form in the form of a free-standing wall closes the view into the interior of the study, giving householders a sense of privacy. the use of large glazing in the living area enhances the impression of the house merging with the garden
“The zoning of the terraces allowed us to distinguish a private area for the daughter, a terrace next to the parents’ bedroom and a leisure area as an extension of the living room. On the garden side, another small courtyard was designed, filled with greenery against a background of wood cladding contrasting with white.” – explain the architects
to give even more lightness and emphasise the horizontal form of the building, the canopy surrounding the house was designed with a small expansion gap
About the studio
The MOOD Architekci studio was born out of a passion for design. The office is based on design experience gained in many architectural studios in both Lodz and Warsaw. Studies at the Dutch Saxion University of Applied Sciences and an internship at Copenhagen-based Arrow Architects were also key moments of development. “We approach each project individually, with positive energy and a full understanding of the investor’s needs.
