Kindergarten on Burakowska Street in Warsaw. It will be aesthetically pleasing and modern!

The kindergarten on Burakowska Street in Warsaw will be able to accommodate 200 children and will provide employment for 40 teaching staff. The investment to be carried out by the city will consume a total of PLN 13.2 million, of which the cost of the comprehensive design is almost PLN 555 000 gross. The result, however, will be a modern, safe and aesthetically pleasing kindergarten, designed by a consortium comprising PSBA Przemysław Sokołowski Biuro Architektoniczne and INOONI Jakub Zygmunt

The construction of the kindergarten on Burakowska Street is now starting to gather pace. The district has awarded a tender for a contractor for the multi-discipline design documentation, with whom it intends to sign a contract soon

The construction of a kindergarten between Burakowska and Piaskowa Streets is an extremely important and urgent investment, which is why all the units responsible for it are working without undue delay. – We have just settled a tender under which we have selected a contractor who will prepare multi-discipline project documentation for us, together with obtaining a building permit,” says Krzysztof Strzałkowski, Mayor of Wola. – The total cost will be close to PLN 555 thousand, and the tender was won by a consortium from southern Poland. It is worth emphasising that the winner gained most points in the proceedings not by price, but by the quality of its offer,” adds Strzałkowski

The entire investment is to amount to approximately PLN 13.2 million, and the building itself is to be a thoroughly modern facility built to the highest standards. – The facility will have two storeys and almost 2,300 square metres of floor space. It will be adjusted to the needs of handicapped persons, and next to it there will be playgrounds, a car park and attractive green areas,” says Krystian Wilk, a councillor of the Wola district. The kindergarten will be designed for 8 wards, which will be able to accommodate around 200 children and over 40 staff

The schedule of further works will be tight. From the moment the contract is signed, the contractor will have 60 days to present the district with two architectural concepts, of which one will be selected. – Then, the winning consortium will have several months of hard work ahead of it, because the multi-discipline project documentation is very detailed, extensive, complicated and contains many elements,” says the mayor of Wola. – It has to be prepared in such a way as to be able to start work on the ground a moment after the investment receives a building permit. We hope that everything will be ready within two years,” adds Strzałkowski
