CANA garden kitchens and Wojciech Modest Amaro during “Dining with nature”

They have a great design, but how do they perform in practice? We had the opportunity to test CANA garden kitchens during the ‘Dining with nature’ event. The event took place in Dębówka near Warsaw, where Agnieszka and Wojciech Modest Amaro opened a restaurant concept called Forgotten Fields Farm, during which the chef prepared dishes working with CANA brand equipment. These are garden kitchens that are resistant to adverse weather conditions. With them, outdoor barbecues can be enjoyed all year round

The ‘Dining with nature’ event took place on 14 September in Dębówka near Warsaw. This is where Agnieszka and Wojciech Modest Amaro’s Forgotten Fields Farm is located – a concept that breaks the convention of an ordinary restaurant. The chef uses products that grow on the green allotment. Guests at the event had the opportunity to sample Chef Amaro’s unique proposals, which he prepared on CANA garden kitchens. The entire feast took place in a natural setting. It could not have been otherwise, as CANA kitchens are designed to operate outdoors and not only in the summer season, but even in winter, hence the event’s slogan “with us summer lasts all year round”

The idea of outdoor living & cooking, i.e. a lifestyle combining cooking and spending time together in nature, was the leitmotif, as well as the bond between CANA and Wojciech Modest Amaro’s kitchens. Aesthetics were also an important motif, encompassing the sophisticated design of CANA’s garden kitchens, the art of serving Chef Amaro’s specialities and the natural beauty of Forgotten Fields Farm, from which the seasonal produce used to prepare the dishes was sourced. The collaboration between the two ‘kitchen’ brands is just beginning, but as Jarosław Goraj, CEO of CANA Concept and Wojciech Modest Amaro declared – there is a vision, a shared passion and ideas for the future

CANA garden kitchens were created for conscious customers who value quality and good design. To this end, the brand cooperates with architects and landscape architects and indicates that, with outdoor kitchens, it wants to encourage people to spend more time outdoors with their loved ones. A kitchen in the garden can be an element that beautifies the space and adds an extra element of architecture with high aesthetic value

The brand encourages you not to limit your culinary experiments to grilled sausages or pork neck. It is worth reaching for more exquisite dishes and using the outdoor kitchen itself more often. You can prepare breakfast, scrambled eggs or pancakes there. All this with family and friends

From the beginning, we wanted to create beautiful kitchens that inspire. Thanks to the feedback we received from architects in the course of our collaboration and at design and interior fairs, we were able to improve the design, form and aesthetics to get to the point where we are now. The shape, proportions and various finishing details of the CANA garden kitchens are the result of a long-term process, in which the opinions and suggestions of the architects played a considerable role,” informs CANA

Garden kitchens provide an opportunity to visually unite the interior of the building with the exterior. This is another part of the house to develop and should be designed by experienced architects. The CANA Style line of garden kitchens, which, thanks to special construction solutions, gives architects the possibility to create an individual design of the development using a variety of materials such as ceramic, stone, wood or glass. In this way, the garden kitchen becomes an integral part of the building and landscape architecture

CANA is the only Polish brand of luxury outdoor kitchens. It has a design office, showroom and atelier in Krakow, where pieces designed according to individual designs and tastes are created. But what about rain or snow? The manufacturer ensures that CANA kitchens are suitable for outdoor operation even in extreme weather conditions. They are resistant to rain, frost and UV radiation. High-quality stainless steel, natural quartz sinters or boat-building plywood are examples of carefully selected materials that make CANA kitchens suitable for use not only in summer, but also in winter. The idea of creating a garden kitchen that ‘lives’ the four seasons is embedded in the history and genesis of the CANA brand

The worktops in CANA’s garden kitchens are made from selected Italian and Spanish quartz sinters, which feature varied and original designs. This allows us to match them to gardens or terraces of different styles. The sinter patterns can take the form of natural stone, metal or countless shades of architectural concrete

Quartz sinters are resistant to scratching and discolouration and extreme weather conditions. They are formed from natural minerals and are not affected by moisture or water. All this makes the sinters ideal for use in contact with food, even at extremely high temperatures
