The expansion of the primary school in Wilczyce – just across the border from Wrocław – will begin any moment now. The municipal authorities signed a contract with STANBUD Stanisław Pięta, the main contractor for the works

This is a special moment for all inhabitants, especially from Wilczyce. I really want our children to have the best possible conditions for learning and developing their passions. I am aware of the development of our commune and the influx of new residents, so the expansion of the school has been a priority for me all the time.
– Wojciech Błoński, Head of Długołęka Commune

The plan for the extension of the primary school in Wilczyce envisages preserving the oldest part currently occupied by the school. Three new modules will be built next to it (each of three storeys), connected by glass passages. There will be a playground, a car park (including space for a school bus) and bicycle stands. The building will have modern utilities, including photovoltaic panels and a rainwater utilisation system. The facility is expected to be ready by September 2025
