PUMA x KIDSUPER – fashion through the lens of football

PUMA’s latest brand collaboration with Colm Dillane, better known as KidSuper, brings the American artist’s work to life through expressive design and modernised classics. Following on from previous releases, the collection draws inspiration from PUMA’s football heritage and Dilane’s passion for the sport.

Reinterpreting archival PUMA silhouettes through the lens of football brings pastel colour palettes and modern aesthetics to the form and function of sportswear, enhancing the range with updated versions of the Velophasis and Palermo sneakers. The unique character of the collection is highlighted by special colouring on the garments, graphics on jacquard knits, references to the iconic PUMA King model and unique patterned motifs created by KidSuper uniquely for this collection.

The collection includes tracksuit sets: jacket and trousers, in two colour variations with embroidered embellishments. In addition, PUMA x KidSuper offers T-shirts, shorts, cardigans and longsleeves made from the finest materials and featuring the KidSuper Football Club patch that gives the collection its character.

The footwear line-up includes two strong models, the Velophasis NU and the Palermo NU, loved by lovers of terrace culture. Both pairs have been updated from the originals, featuring premium cashmere suede uppers, mesh bottoms and custom PUMA and KidSuper Studios labels on the tongue. Additionally, the Velophasis NU has been finished with detailing to give the impression of a scuffed shoe, giving it a look that is trendy in today’s trends. The collection also includes additional accessories such as buckets, scarves and a travel bag.

A unique cast of characters come together in the campaign, which features Dillane as the patriarch of the PUMA x KidSuper family. Inspired by classic 90s gangster films, the visuals showcase the artistic collection, focusing on matching tracksuits to create a cohesive whole.
