The Gdańsk tenements located at 1 Pniewskiego Street and 7 Jaśkowa Dolina Street are the next investment carried out by Gdańskie Nieruchomości under the Integrated Territorial Investments programme. The tenements will provide more than 2,200 m2 of usable space for offices and non-governmental institutions. The general refurbishment was preceded by a programme of conservation works, taking into account, among other things, the renovation and restoration of architectural details, so that after thermomodernisation the buildings regain their former charm, while offering comfortable and ecological interiors.
The Gdańsk tenements located at 1 Pniewskiego Street and 7 Jaskowa Dolina Street were built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The first, a corner tenement with a brick façade, was built in the eclectic style, while the second, whose front façade is plastered, refers to the Baroque and classicist style. Both buildings were in need of general renovation.

The facades and interiors of both properties are currently undergoing renovation. Ultimately, thermo-modernisation works will include the roof, facades, but also waterproofing. A water-saving system, the so-called grey water system, will also be installed in the townhouses to recover and reuse water used on a daily basis. Replacement of window and door frames, the construction of a new central heating system, and the replacement of primary appliances powered by electricity with new, energy-efficient ones with automation that adjusts energy consumption and efficiency are also planned for both buildings. Lifts will also be installed in the building.
In accordance with conservation guidelines, the architectural details of the façade will be restored, as well as including woodwork elements. Based on archive photography, historic verandas will be reconstructed in both townhouses.
The total value of the investment is almost PLN 26 million. The expected completion date is the third quarter of 2024.
