Its design was prepared by Paulina Gołaska, who runs her own przojekgowa studio, Gołaska Studio. The small flat is located in the centre of Zielona Góra. An elegant and timeless space was created there.
The premises are located in a new residential building at 21 Plac Matejki St. The space has been designed for rent for people who want to stay in an attractive ‘base’ to discover the charms of the Lubuskie region. It is an attractive location near the Zielona Góra Palm House.
The flat in the centre has a total area of 38 square metres and is 2.75 metres high. The premises consist of a living room connected to the kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. The functional layout has been achieved by removing the wall enclosing the kitchen from the corridor, resulting in an open plan and a sense of lightness of space. Mirrored fronts optically enlarge the space, the centrepiece of which is a functional kitchen island.
The designer points out that it was precisely creating a kitchen with an island in such a limited space that was the biggest challenge. The intended effect was achieved, and the interior is impressive from the moment you cross the threshold. The culmination of the island is the AQForm luminaire suspended above the worktop.
The interior is kept in subdued colours. Dominant colours are beige and white, contrasted with black. The whole is visually warmed by wooden elements.
This combination of colours and textures provides a versatile background for the discerning tenant. Itdoes not impose anything, it is a background for personalisation, which the future tenant will want to add,” says Paulina Gołaska.
